Had a surprised good stay in a redecorated large room comfortable bed with fresh linen room and bathroom clean was apprehensive but found staff friendly and efficient will be back

The staff are amazing got lock out of my room and the staff was great to help and even offered a hot chocolate this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at will continue to use this place to stay

We held our Fathers funeral wake at the Consort Hotel, the buffet they provide was excellent and the place is really beautiful. It has been refurbished to a high standard, the staff are very good and the service we received was excellent. The buffet was plentiful, fresh and the quality was excellent. We would really recommend the Consort Hotel.

This used to be a lovely hotel. We arrived and there was a man sat outside drinking a can of beer. The reception was OK but a pram was parked in the reception. No lift so we walked up the stairs stair carpet threadbare and dirty.Very strong smell of ********.
Room was appalling dirty beds were not clean hairs and dirt on skirting boards Mould in bathroom. Avoid at all costs. We were in the room 5mins and granddaughter got flea bites up her leg. Dreadful.
