1.Room.... ordinary condition, mould around shower screen and the base. Old crumbs in utensil drawer.
2. Stove ....dirty around the edges, had to scrape the grease and dirt myself to clean, so i able to cook on it.
3. Curtain in bedroom torn and dirty, and difficult to slide the sliding window.
4. No security or any screen on the bedroom window.
5. Bedding.. pillows thin, uncomfortable, need to be replaced
6. Toaster... small, old looks burnt and un hygienic.
Good things are.... excellent view and excellent size apartment. Cold air-conditioning.
Location is perfect and staff are good. Great working bbqs with excellent shade cover.
Currently lots of work to building but lots of noise. Overall ots ok.

Room was dusty and a bit run down but property is being renovated currently so despite the noise and room being a little run down we loved it and want to go back every year. Loved it, just a few minor things and it's a bit more expensive. Perfect location, stunning views, close to everything and also everything you need in the room too.

Great location, staff were lovely, apartment was slighlty let down by lack of clean, comfortable outdoor furniture for a family.

Property across the street from beach. Saw a humpback whale playing in the water and watched the surfers. Nice pool on property as well when tired of salt waters. Easy walking distance to restaurants, clothing shops, and grocery store. Can walk a long distance of the coastline and never have to use your vehicle. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately booking through staz you only get the unit on level 1 over looking the pool ! Don’t get a choice of unit ??

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the beach. It was perfect for us. We had an amazing view of Coolums coastline. Restaurants & shops were close by & the staff at Coolum Caprice were always helpful.

Good: Large fully self contained,clean, comfortable apartment. Ocean view, opposite beach and surf club (excellent meals). Fast, friendly response from onsite manager for after hours checkin.
Not so good: Some construction noise after 8.00am from building works. (Notified after booking, offered refund or transfer to alternative property). As only 1 night stay we were not affected.

You cannot beat the view and location, but the property is worn and tired.

Disappointing stay given the price.
The property was not as advertised — it looked much more tired and outdated than the advertised photos. That said, I cannot fault the cleanliness, which was excellent.
We arrived to find pillows without pillowcases, though these were added later in the day while we were out. Only one bath towel per person was provided, with no flannels or bath mats, and while basic soap was supplied, there was no moisturiser. Beach towels also had to be hired, which added to the cost. This is not expected at this price point especially as compared with lower cost options nearby.
We travel to Coolum monthly for work and had chosen this property as a treat for my birthday. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations, and we’ve found better value elsewhere.
There were building works during our stay, which caused only minor disruptions (lift waits, parking access, some noise), but this was not disclosed at the time of booking — only in an email the week of our stay.
Overall, we won’t return and wouldn’t recommend this property based on our experience.

We spent 2 nights here in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor overlooking Coolum Beach... Very happy with the room was very clean and spacious and comfortable... The kids had a great time in the pool... Our bed and pillows could have been a bit more comfortable and the fridge smelled like fish from last guests... Only minor complaints, overall we had a lovely time here and you couldn't ask for a better location...
Highly recommend a stay here..
