The room was extremely dark, not great lighting at all.
The room was very small, it was a snug room, but goodness it was tiny!my husband couldn’t even walk around the bed as the ceiling was slanted.
Exposed wiring in the bathroom. Definitely didn’t live up to all the hype.
Had a lovely stay at the crazy bear hotel. The only negative thing I would say is the lighting was very low in the room with not many lights which caused a headache. They was also very limited plug sockets and the floor was a polished leather texture which causes it to be very slippery.
Amazing stay at Crazy Bear for my boyfriend’s birthday. I booked the decadent room, which was amazing- so spacious and the decor was gorgeous. Very clean, with everything we needed.
Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a flawless stay, room service was spot on- breakfast good, with beautiful surroundings in the restaurants. Reception staff super helpful too

We thought the room was lovely at first, but upon close inspection it wasnt cleaned very well. Cobwebs above the toilet, sust, cobwebs in shower room left side on the mirror. Could do with a good spring clean. The r iself was nice but the noise of guests coming in and out to smoke was so distracting. One guest even knocked on our door and run away. The smell of cigarettes was heavily smelt throughout the hallways and this come in under our door so was not pleasant at all. I did complain to reception, the friendly man did offer us room 19 but that was literally opposite our room, so the smell of cigarettes and the noise would have been the same, plus room 19 had no working TV. Therefore the best we could was stay in room 18.
We did call for room service on Saturday evening but no one answered the phone.
This is a uniquely beautiful hotel. The staff, rooms and restaurants are all fantastic. We only had one issue and that was the water never got hot in Bath or shower room, it was only tepid warm- but we put that down to age of the building and amount of rooms probably using facilities at the same time. It did not dampen our stay and as forgot to mention it to reception they didn’t have the ability to fix the problem. I would definitly recommend this hotel.
Wonderful room as always, love everything about staying here. But, the hotels biggest asset is its front desk staff. This time I had the pleasure of checking in with Nicole. Along with Chloe and Annabelle previously she is amazing. May be a few weeks before I am back but will always aim to stay here if possible. Thank you guys.
The staff were lovely, Checkin and out were also perfect. I had a few issues in the room, i.e Shower curtain came of it's railings, TV Powered on but couldn't connect to the channels. Very special interior design, not to my liking as very dark but also very comfortable.
Absolutely terrible hotel and service. I would NOT be going back here and would advise you to stay away. The service is absolutely atrocious… upon arriving and checking in we had to wait 22 mins to just be shown our room which is unacceptable. I don’t get why the lady made us wait so long. Then we asked for a bucket with ice and some glasses twice and nothing turned up. We still didn’t get them the next day so gave up. Went for dinner in the evening and was served cold steak and upon mentioning it to the server he tells me the kitchen cooked it and then left it to be cooled down…. Since when do you serve cold steak?? And then when checking out the lady was so so rude like I told her to come to work. If she doesn’t want to be there then she shouldn’t but I’m not gonna accept being spoken to in such a rude and abrupt manner like she’s doing me a favour. All she wanted to do was what’s app as I could see on her phone. The snug room is very very small and hardly any space to move around or space to put anything anywhere. Bathroom is tiny and again no where to put your toiletries so seems weird that don’t think about these things. Yea room was clean and beds were comfy but overall the experience was terrible and as a frequent traveler all over the world I would be staying back here!!
