Lovely cottage very comfortable well equipped we were greeted by Anne very friendly and knowledgeable, in the cottage was a tray of tea coffee sugar cake and I thought was a lovely touch dog biscuits for my dog comfy bed log burner with some logs matches kindling and fire lighters, it's about 8 mile to Aldi if you want supplies, the views are lovely it's very peaceful if you want to get away from it all I would highly recommend it.

We stayed in the adjoining cottage Rusland View. The cottage was warm, clean and cosy. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. Fresh cake waiting for us with a pint of milk, coffee and teabags was indeed very thoughtful. Shower was nice and hot. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Sofa was leather and if you've ever sat one it feels really cold, but a blanket solved that issue! Views over the hills changed daily which was so lovely to see from the dining table. Ideal central location albeit several miles down a lane! for discovering the whole area. Ann went out of her way to make my birthday special. At the request of my hubby via email to her, there was surprise flowers and balloons waiting for me ( obviously at extra expense ) but it was such a memorable moment
