Crown house is a beautiful spot to stay in and everything in our beautifully appointed room was wonderful.The attention to detail that the host gives is truly wonderful and our host is very helpful and nothing is to much bother.We cant recommend the Crown house enough

Zeer goede locatie, op 5 min wandelen van het centrum. Zeer mooie en ruime kamer. Heather is er een fantastische uitbater en zorgt voor een smakelijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Prijs/kwaliteit perfect!

We had a beautiful stay at the Crown House! Easy check-in, Clean comfortable room, delicious choices for breakfast. Location is walkable to down town and Heather was kind to make a dinner reservation for us during the busy season! Highly recommend- will return.

We stayed here for two nights and had a fabulous stay. Great room with a double bed and two comfortable chairs. How frustrating it is when only one chair is provided in a double room: no frustrations here. Great advise on where to eat in the city centre, which is only 15 minutes walk away. Wonderful breakfast.

While traveling throughout Ireland, Scotland and Wales, we found Heather’s place the best. Rooms and breakfast were great. Heather was a fantastic host, going out of her way to suggest dining options, making reservations and suggesting things to see.

Heather is singlehandedly the most amazing proprietor we have ever experienced, and the Crown House is absolutely beautiful. It started with our flights being delayed past the time for check in, and after calling in she stayed and waited for us happily well after check in time. The room was super comfortable, with an assortment of tea and coffee for the mornings and a very well stocked bathroom. Each morning she had our selected breakfast ready and even helped with dinner reservations in town during the nights. You cannot go wrong with Crown House for your Inverness stay, and one of the best parts is the 10 minute walk to the heart of the city with dining, music, shopping, and more.

When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the host, she immediately showed us our gorgeous room with a massive super comfortable bed ( 2m*1.8m) and very comfortable duvet and pillows. The bathroom was nice and the shower had white pressure. The house is gorgeous, just like the entire neighbourhood. Possibly the nicest residential area I have ever seen. The breakfast was superb! Delicious oatmeal , and then we tried the full Scottish, The scramble and the third option. ( there are 3 starter options and 3 mains ) with delicious coffee or tea and juice. The rooms and street was so quiet, it was wonderful. Fantastic stay, if we go back to Inverness we would stay here again! Because of the rain we didn’t use the gorgeous outside area, but it looked amazing. Location is good, not even 500 meter walk from the city centre, the walk is through a super safe gorgeous area, it’s like all houses look like tiny castles

We stayed at 5 different places over the course of our vacation and our stay at Crown House was easily our favorite. The room and bed were cozy and comfortable, Heather's suggestions were spot on and we greatly appreciated her accommodating our vegan diet. Highly recommend staying here!

Heather was very polite and accommodating. Our room was quite comfortable, had a private bath, and came with treats, including a bit of whisky, cookies, and a couple of chocolates. There were a few options for breakfast, and all that we had was delicious. The breakfast room was just as pleasantly decorated as the food was tasty. Crown House is located a short walk away from the dining and shopping area of Inverness. We walked to dinner both nights of our stay with ease and convenience. I would stay here again!

Crown house is a lovely guest house, the house itself has loads of character and the rooms have been done really nice, bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice with multiple options really set us up for the day. There’s some really nice touches also like Netflix, complimentary Drams of whisky and more. It is a ten minute walk from Inverness town centre and ten minute drive out to the country very good location. Heather was amazing really friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. She really runs a lovely guest house. Highly recommend.
