Two day mission to Christchurch.
The Daffodil motel is in a very good position. It is a nice walk into the city through Hagley park. There are many shops and eateries close by. The room was large and very clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly and attentive. It was the perfect place for me to stay at for my two day mission to Christchurch.

We have just spent 5 nights at The Daffodil Motel and it has been fantastic, it’s in a great location near to bars and restaurants also the city centre and the park , the room was perfect it had everything we needed and the beds very comfy, the lady who owns the motel is an absolute star nothing is too much trouble for her , clean towels everyday and what ever else you require this lady is at hand to help , thank you everyone at The Daffodil Motel for a great stay .

Great place to stay. Even when there was an issue (faulty lock on the door), they did everything they could do to fix it, eventually moving us to an upgraded room. Outstanding customer sevice

We had a pleasant stay. The room was basic but comfortable and had everything we needed. We worked all day in the room and had reliable wi-fi. It was good value.

The motel very happily allowed us to park our horse float and leave it for us to collect 6 hours after checkout after we had completed our business in Christchurch.

It was a nice place to stay but another set of towels would have been appreciated. Not sure about shower, even with curtain around it water was around toilet etc which was disappointing.

The location was fantastic! Room was wonderful.
Only one issue, I a was travelling for work & required iron and ironing board! These weren’t in the room and I had to ask another guest to borrow them! Would have got a perfect score apart from that??

The property manager was helpful. The room was very minimal. We were not comfortable in the area.

Clean and comfortable stay
Staff was wonderful, and a clean nice place to stay after landing in Christchurch after a very long flight. Walking distance to shops and restaurants made it also convenient and there was a place to park our campervan too which was awesome.
