Great welcome & brief on the area. Service was exceptional from the staff as was the breakfast. Room ( Africa) was very comfortable but is the smallest & a little tight alongside the bed. Overall ambience was very relaxing & we would visit again. Only minor issue was the temperature at breakfast.

Wonderful experience and a great stay. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful. The place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully managed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
I loved so many things about this property! It was quiet, intimate, and the best location right in the Medina. The decor was so authentically Moroccan and beautiful. The beds were super comfortable, as well as the bath/shower. Osama was our main point of contact while there and he was so polite and knowledgeable and helpful. We had dinner at the Riad our first night and it was so very good, one of our best meals of the trip. We hired the driver service the Riad offered which took us from the airport to the Riad. Once in the Medina a porter greeted us and almost ran through the Medina with our luggage in a wheel barrow, we had to keep pace to keep up with him! My point is they have this down like a well-oiled machine. Everything is planned to perfection. Also, they made up our rooms and beds during the day which was a nice surprise. We stayed in the Toureg Suite which I believe is the only 2 bedroom suite, and was perfect for us and our two teenagers. Some of the showers were luke warm (especially if we each showered right after one another), but that seemed to be everywhere we stayed in Morocco, not just here. Great staff, extremely helpful with many details such as local sim-cards, organization of an english-speaking guide, wonderful breakfast. Although hard to find - a good location in the Medina!
We had such high hopes after seeing this Riad was recognized by Michelin. Unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. Communication was poor. We had let Laurent know of our plans in advance but at check in it didn’t seem that had all been communicated. We had an early departure and despite asking several people we weren’t able to secure a coffee. The air didn’t work in our room (perhaps user error and I admittedly did not call to have it looked at). The riad is in a small dark alley - if I was alone traveling I would be uncomfortable getting there. Our room on the first floor literally opened into the central courtyard with only glass doors so did not feel private. Our arrivals up was not smooth as we had to hire our own porter to assist with bags.
Fantastic Dar where nothing was too much trouble. The food and hospitality was amazing as were all the staff. The room was just perfect with everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here and it is so convenient for the souls and the main square. We did go on a day trip to the three valleys which was organised by the hotel. Unfortunately we felt we were scammed a little as the driver took us to an Argon Oil women’s co operative. We felt we were put under a huge amount of pressure to buy with very hard core sales tactics and not really knowing how much anything was. Everything went through the till very quickly and the man there distracted us with chatter and didn’t show us how much we had spent before it was too late taking my husbands card. Stupid of us not to check but everything was so rushed. Just be careful if you go there and check what you’re buying and how much you’re spending.
Très joli Dar , jolie décoration ,malheureusement chambre très petite pas de place pour les valises donnant sur le patio intérieur au rez de chaussée donc ne pouvant pas ouvrir les rideaux . Le chauffage ne marchant pas nous avons d? demander un radiateur individuel . Les portemanteaux dans la salle d eau très hauts donc difficile d y atteindre et loin de la douche. Un escalier pour monter à la terrasse sans rampe pour se tenir . Lit très moyen et oreillers durs dommage…. le personnel est très serviable heureusement.
We have just returned from our trip to Morocco, having spent the last 2 nights at Dar Assiya. The Riad is beautifully appointed and authentic. We loved our room and very comfortable bed. We wanted to enjoy some winter sun and the rooftop terrace was just the place for it. The highlight of our stay was the dinner on the first night, the food was delicious and I would like to thank the cooks for preparing the feast for us. It was one of the best meals we had in Morocco. I would also like to mention the excellent choice of Moroccan wine on offer. Highly recommended.
