The riad is beautiful and in a great location. The team at the riad are wonderful and welcoming. Dar Sultan is beautifully decorated inside and is very comfortable, clean and well taken care of. The breakfast on the roof is incredible - the biggest breakfast I have ever seen!
A couple of notes
- the stairs in the riad are very steep. If you have any problems that might make managing them difficult this riad is not for you. There is no elevator in this traditional building.
- the twin room is great, but has almost no floor space and just a small wardrobe. Make sure you know your roomie very well.
Othere than that, I have no hesitation to recommend this riad. There are multiple excellent restaurants nearby - Le Salon Bleu, all down rue de la Kasbah. And the crazy souks are nearby.
And for any day tours and trips the team at Dar Sultan will do anything they can to assist. We had a great time.
I've traveled a lot and the team at Dar Sultan were exceptional. Excellent customer service going above and beyond. Loved the place!!

The place is well furnished and decorated. My room comes with the terrace and rooftop, which offer a spectacular views of the Medina and Strait of Gibraltar.
The staff are helpful.
Great location, very pretty interior decor, exceptionally clean. Breakfast was plentiful with variety. Ibrahim, Mehdi and Nadia were eager to attend to our needs. Potential guests should note that stairs to upper rooms are rather steep, there is no elevator; also, there are cats on premises. Very peaceful atmosphere
Un site authentique, reflets des influences locales et arabo-andalouses qui ont marqué l'histoire de la région. Très bon emplacement, dans le c?ur de la ville historique. La chaleur humaine des propriétaires et du personnel de la maison fait toute la différence. Je recommande hautement !

Tout était impeccable de mon point de vue : propreté irréprochable, savon et lingerie changés chaque jour ?? ??. Décoration incroyable avec des objets de tout horizon. L’accueil est chaleureux et le personnel à votre service à 100%. Ils portent vos bagages jusqu’à l’entrée de la kasbah, trouve un taxi, ou une voiture de location si vous en avez besoin. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Dar Sultan Nous avons occupé la chambre Sharf qui se trouve au sommet du riad Les terrasses privatives sont exceptionnelles, au calme, abondamment végétalisées et l'on domine toute la ville Le petit déjeuner plus que copieux et varié est servi devant la chambre Le riad n'est que charme et originalité, sa décoration est spectaculaire et soignée Le personnel, charmant, est aux petits soins Nous étions au paradis !
