Desierto Azul is perfect and will be a go to for future visits. We loved the location as we could walk to the beach, go on runs, short drive to restaurants and town, and onsite bakery (especially as a vegetarian) was such a bonus. All staff was genuine and helpful and natural surroundings mixed with modern design made for a beautiful place to stay. We did not want to leave

Desierto Azul is a boutique four room hotel. Your stay comes with a very nice breakfast in a wonderful café setting, and the food is both delicious and beautiful. The rooms are nice, and the staff worked hard to make the experience a good one. We were able to borrow beach towels and an umbrella each day, which was very helpful. A rental car, preferably one with high suspension, is essential since the hotel is a couple miles outside of town. We did have a couple of issues: We could not figure out how to get the hot water to work, and it took a day for the staff to help us figure it out. And the cleaning staff did not make up our room on one of the five days that we were there. My suggestion would be to stay here for a maximum of two or three nights. Maximiliano Uranga was a wonderful guide to the local art scene, highly recommended.

Everything about this place appeals to me - the attention the smallest of details in the luxurious contempory design, the warmth and friendliness of the staff (José, Manuel and Martha) the delicious food and drinks and THE POOL, where all our cares floated away as we watched the Baja birds among cactus. Even the choice of music played felt coordinated with the whole spirit here. We loved it.

Staff and owners made our production team feel welcomed and at home. From the food to the hotel manager Jose we had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking to true getaway exp and be on a real vacation outside the tourist traps. We are coming back here for sure as I was amazed at how fresh the food was, the rooms were so spacious, and the water was so clean we drank from the faucets!!! We have traveled all over the world but this stay was one of the very best ever!

As a TV producer, we chose this family-owned resort as a backdrop for an entire episode of our show. The staff was amazing. The vibe and the views were peaceful. You could clearly see the stars at night & hear the gentle crashing of waves from the beach nearby. The food was also incredible. I was so thrilled to find everything on the menu was created from scratch & mostly plant based and gluten-free. This is one of the best kept secrets in Mexico. We love it so much and can’t wait to go back.

We loved our stay at Desierto Azul thanks to its exceptionally kind and hospitable staff. The property is beautifully designed and efficiently operated. The hotel offered breathtaking desert scenery that invited us to embrace a calm and contemplative ambiance. The room was air-conditioned and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool is super nice.

El hotel es encantador, pero el personal aún lo es más. Vale cada peso, todo está perfectamente cuidado, se siente la dedicación y amor por el proyecto de los propietarios y de quienes trabajan allí. Mis hijos aunque estuvimos una noche, siguen preguntando que cuando vamos a ir a saludar a José. Recomiendo mucho el lugar a los viajeros que van en pareja o familia. Es muy tranquilo y acogedor y se tienes auto puedes ir a conocer lugares encantadores en Todos Santos. Volvería sin duda!!

Séjour parfait ! Le staff est très pro et aux petits soins, et de très bons conseils ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et bien décorés. Les extérieurs superbes et très bien entretenus. Le petit déjeuner était succulent, tout était frais et délicieux

Very charming and authentic boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. The staff was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beach where there is a turtle sanctuary and we were able to witness the turtle hatching and release. All in all we really appreciated the Desierto Azul.
