We had another wonderful stay on Saturday night (Our 4th or 5th visit) The room had everything we needed for a comfortable night's sleep. Drinks and evening meal were served by friendly and attentive team and we sat in the bar area which has a lovely atmosphere. The quality of the meal was exceptional. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options l, tasty and again staff were great. Overall a fantastic night away, will certainly be back.

Fantastic service, friendly with a great atmosphere Wonderful Pizzas… amazing Lovely rooms Excellent breakfast using local produce… Skipton Sausages Location excellent for walks to absorb the unbelievable views 360 degrees… A great weekend stay with a fabulous hard working family…

Travelling back from a day out, we took a chance on finding a decent dinner here as it looked so nice. We weren’t disappointed. Despite not having a booking, it had a really nice buzz and atmosphere, without being too busy. Our welcome was very warm and we weren’t disappointed immediately seated. The menu is great: standard local pub options, but a good range for veggies and vegans too. There is also a menu for doggos! My partner had local sausages and mash and I had a plant based burger. The portions are generous and came fairly quickly! I’d definitely recommend a visit here, as a solo or couple or in larger groups. We hope to return!

We’ve popped in for a drinks a few times over our weekend and had a meal on our Saturday evening. Lovely warm welcome, great atmosphere and the food was just delicious. Husband had the steak pie and I had sea trout followed by a cheeseboard with fruitcake! Now that’s a good Yorkshire cheeseboard! Garden out the back is a great sun trap where we relaxed after some lovely walks. Thoroughly recommend

Just spent 4 nights, eating breakfast and dinner at the Devonshire Arms with the Mrs and a close and yet frequently late to mealtimes friend. The location is fantastic and we managed a couple of decent walks, one out from the Inn the other a short ride up to Malham Tarn, as well as a visit to Stumpcross Caves. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom spotless. Breakfast menu has everything you want on it, the Rarebit with mushrooms and local goats cheese a hit for the Mrs and our mate could not drag himself away from the full Yorkshire, I managed to go off piste with a bacon, black pudding and mushroom on bloomer bread that was to die for! There is a great beer selection on the handbills and the proprietor knows how to keep a good cellar. A great wine list is on hand and the local gins put grins on the Mrs face. Even meals were superb, over the four nights we had, lamb, pork, burgers, trout, mackerel, pizzas, and fish & chips. All top notch, especially the lamb and the pork! For dessert pay close attention to anything which includes the Rhubarb sorbet! The place is ran by Phil and Sam and their family, they provide a warm, open and very hospitable welcome. Nothing is to much for them and everything is provided with a smile. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back at some point.

I had a lovely stay here. The owner and staff are friendly and efficient. There's a lovely garden out back where I caught some sun in the morning before breakfast. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of great options. Dinner was delicious as well. The bed was comfortable and both shampoo and conditioner were provided in the bathroom. Shower pressure was a bit low. I kept it on eco as I wasn't washing my hair, not sure if the high setting would have been better. The walls are a bit thin, so you do get some noise from the hallway and other rooms, but I got a good night's sleep. Lots of parking available. Overall a great stay!

My partner and I had a 3 night stay at this lovely family run hotel with excellent service, from our host and the waitresses. Food is delicious and the rooms are very clean, with en suite. We were told about places to visit. Highly recommend ti others.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening meal with my husband . Excellent menu . We both had smoked salmon croquettes starter , mushroom and truffle Wellington and shared a cheese board to complete our meal. Good friendly service. Highly recommend and would certainly go again.

Had stayed here previously back in 2019 and nice to see its still run by same family. Standards still exceptional. Nice location, room comfortable, comfy bed and quiet. Great toiletries In room and nice soft towels. Love the bottled water and fresh milk bottle for each room in fridge in corridor, rather than UHT cartons. Food is superb - had sausage, mash with vegetables and gravy. All cooked perfectly and nice tasty fresh vegetables. Excellent breakfast choices on menu and really spoilt for what to choose! Excellent host Phil and wife who know how to look after guests perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Not a large hotel, but wonderful food and accommodation. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. Fresh cooked breakfast and an interesting menu for evening meals. Great large car park. Difficult to find a bad point. Is on the list for a return visit
