We stayed at Boardwalk for two nights because of its close location to EPCOT. This hotel is now our favorite in Disney World. A 10-minute walk to EPCOT, and a 10-minute boat ride to Hollywood Studios. The Boardwalk Restaurants have great food and atmosphere. The hotel itself is nearly identical in decor and vibe tothe Grand Floridian. The room was huge. I will stay here again.

Having never seen the annual gingerbread display at the Disney Boardwalk Inn, we walked over from the EPCOT International Gateway entrance (near the France pavilion). BTW - we've read that it is only a 5 minute walk between the Boardwalk and EPCOT - maybe if you're power walking for rope drop but we found this to be a 15 minute or so walk. We were impressed by the Boardwalk Inn's elegant and light-filled lobby area. Although much smaller in scale, we felt the lofty ceilings, tall columns and sparkly chandeliers gave the Boardwalk Inn a more polished and upscale feel than the overly fussy Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We've heard so much about the Disney holiday gingerbread creations that we were sort of underwhelmed by the Boardwalk Inn's modest display. Set on a small table, guests can peep inside a cute bakery with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Nearby was a table of holiday snacks for purchase. Christmas trees adorned with antique-styled tin decorations also decorated the lobby.

First off, the location was absolutely perfect — ideal for walking to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. The bus links were also great, with the stop just outside the hotel entrance. Although the buses are shared with the Yacht and Beach Club resorts, they never felt crowded, and our family of six always found seats. The room size was fantastic, exactly what you’d expect from a Disney Deluxe resort. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, and every member of the hotel staff we met was friendly and accommodating. Special shoutout to Jeremy, who completely won over our kids from day one. He took the time to give them a little tour of the lobby and even turned on the carousel for them with a “magical” Disney prompt — such a thoughtful touch that made our arrival extra special. Now, why not five stars? Having stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort a couple of times before, we did miss the convenience of multiple ice and refillable mug stations that were available 24/7. At the BoardWalk, the only option is the Deli outside on the BoardWalk itself, and it’s only accessible during opening hours. The timing wasn’t a major issue — I could still go early in the morning or after returning from the parks — but for a Deluxe resort, I’d expect at least one refill station inside the main building or a few more around the property. It’s a small thing, but when a Moderate resort feels a bit more convenient in that regard, it does stand out. Otherwise, everything about the resort was brilliant. We couldn’t hear any of the noise others have mentioned, even though the outdoor cinema was right outside our room. The BoardWalk atmosphere was fantastic — lively yet relaxed — and the pool with its slides was a hit for both kids and adults. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend it if it’s within your budget — it’s a magical and memorable Disney experience from start to finish.

Loved our 2 week stay. The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. We really liked the setup with most things being located outside on the boardwalk and the location was perfect for quick trips into Epcot and a short bus ride to the other parks.

Went to celebrate my birthday. Excellent service and a magical experience. Melissa received us for the check-in, wonderful service. Made me feel like home and made my day more Magical. Love the Boardwalk it is my Happy Place. Thank you.

This is hands-down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and it’s become my absolute favorite resort! From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt special. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views that made waking up each morning a treat. The dining options were fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to every taste, from gourmet meals to casual bites. The resort’s amenities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch and added so much to the overall experience. The only minor downside was the pool area, which could use a bit of TLC. While it was still enjoyable, a few touch-ups or updates would make it even better and bring it up to the same exceptional standard as the rest of the resort. That said, this small issue didn’t detract from the overall magic of the place. Everything else was so phenomenal that I’m already looking forward to my next visit. This resort is truly a gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I don't want to write this hotel low but the fridge didn't work and we spent $100 on food that just went bad put one thing I am grateful about is that someone had a Sam's Club account they were able to order our stuff back the only reason why is it a one star is because of this used to be my favorite Disney World hotel

I want today I'm a Disney fan and I have stayed at many different Disney World hotels over the years and the service has always been amazing! BUT......I wont EVER be returning the Boardwalk Inn... The Inn is beautiful. We checked in smoothly. We arrived early in the morning so our room was not ready. We changed in the bathroom, they held our luggage and we were off to the parks!! We came back and picked up our 3 bags and took them to our room even thought the bellman offered. It was almost 11 pm were ear tired and didnt; want to wait so we jsut took our bags. Our room was clean, pretty and big. We had enough towels. The room was cleaned every day. So here are the issues. I wanted a cup of coffee one evening and the small lobby cafe close daily at 3:30. That is the ONLY place on property to get anything! The next option is heading down the stairs to the boardwalk and goign to the deli or bakery. IF you are trying to get. sick yogurt or coffee it is a process. I asked at the lobby, the young women had no idea it took her 5 minutes of lookin at the iPad to tell me I could go to the deli. She said down the stairs to the left... I asked twice she said yes to the left.. . so I went.. well its downstairs to the right!!! The day we left, the hotel held our bags as per usual at most hotels in the world. The night before check out, I stopped in lobby and spoke to on of the people with an iPad. She said they close out the account in the middle of the night , put in a later check out time and explained to me she count not tell me that I had to call housekeeping and they would lt me know in the morning. Well that doesn't really work if you are doing early entrance.. so we decide to jut pay up and drop bags at the desk before we went. We did early entrance to EPCOT as a perk of staying at this hotel. I got a text sign stop at from desk by 11 am. so while in EPCOT my daughter an dI went all the way back to the hotel because I got that text which made me wonder why.. well when I got back and it was hot out.. the person with the iPad said.. oh everything is fine.. he cousin not give me an reason why I needed to com back he said you really didn't need to.. I explained about the urgent tone of the txt an the said ohhh I'm sorry.. and that was that!! it took us 45 min in the heat to leave and go back to the park. SOOO next we took a break before going to airport to use the pool I asked bell man for our bags to get out suits. My suitcase was wet! I said something to the young woman and she said .." oh I don't know" and sort of shrugged at me .. And tht was it... We use the locker room after the pool the woman's room was HOT I saw a maintenance person and he said yes someone said something earlier and asked me if it was still hot.. umm YES! BTW otherwise the locker room was clean and they had plenty of towels. We had picked up our suitcases to shower and change for the airport.. Well I noticed BOTH of my bags were WET! The “Inn” is large but easy to manage. Every staff member we met was pleasant and helpful, which made the stay that much more pleasant. Other lodging establishments could learn from their example. The room we had was clean and comfortable, though I wish there had been a desk or somewhere to do some work.
