The room and bathroom were large and clean. The ocean view from the balcony window was gorgeous. The balcony itself was a little narrow and a little rundown. The checking and parking process was poor. After booking through ******* we got an email saying reception was open from 9am-2:30pm and to call to confirm arrival time 24 hours ahead. We did so saying we would arrive at 1pm. On the day we running behind time so called back and said we would be there at 2pm. Stopping in front of the hotel - if you have a car is almost impossible on a Friday summer/school holiday time. So one of us stayed with the car and I went in. There were already 3 people waiting at the reception and there was a sign on the desk saying call this particular number. It was 2:05pm. The people told me they had already called 10 minutes earlier. Another 10 minutes went past and more people arrived to check in, totaling 11 people waiting. At around 2:25pm someone came to reception and started checking people in! I didn’t realize when I booked that I had to book parking which is run by someone else not the hotel. Fortunately there was still space but for the extra charge they wanted cash which we didn’t have. The next day before checking out we looked for an ATM but the service were astronomical so went back to reception and another staff member said I could pay there with my card - conflicting information and wasted time!! Besides that, with some patience, the location is great and the rooms were good.

Poor hotel Not so good, a tired and tatty hotel. No staff on the premises. Described as upmarket 4 star hotel, certainly not this.

The Dive hotel is an older facility that has certain charm (e.g. high ceilings and tin ceiling) and check in was simple, with clear instructions. But the bathroom in particular needed attention. The shower stall had mold in the grout (needed to be bleached and scrubbed) and it was clear that things had been pulled off the walls without repair or repainting. At first we were pleased with the communal dining area as we were leaving very early and thought we could have a simple breakfast. But our coffee and cereal were ruined by spoiled milk in the refrigerator. Had we known the night before that the milk was spoiled we could have picked up some from a dairy. The Dive hotel is inexpensive, but not necessarily a great bargain.

高级ホテルではなく民宿のような感じ。悪くはないが、超いいというわけではない。学生が使うには十分だろう。

Quite and perfect location, basic level clean, really old and to me was a hostel/ backpacker vibe. I wouldn’t stay here again.
