Fabulous hotel. Lovely building and grounds. Parking on site. Staff were amazing; always pleasant and helpful. No evening meal but lots of choice 5 mins walk away, in Bayeux.

The property is lovely located within a charming town. Each staff member is nicer than the next: Nelson, Anna, Mathieu. Every need was attended to and helpful recommendations made.

I’m not sure you can find a better and more convenient hotel in Bayeux. The staff are amazingly friendly, efficient, and attentive. The hotel reminds me of an elegant estate within minutes of the historic center of Bayeux. Breakfast is excellent, the rooms are huge and the bathroom has to be seen to believe. Medieval Bayeux is but a few minutes walk from the hotel, easy to get to all the sites in the city. All the main D-Day sites are a short drive away. More than anything else, the welcoming and helpful staff made our stay one of the best, if not the best, of this European trip.

Beautiful characterful hotel with gorgeous rooms (we stayed in an attic room). Magnificent bathroom. Very close to the town centre (about 5 mins walk) but quiet with lovely gardens

What a beautiful stay!! Domain De Bayeux is a treasure ... located conveniently to the town of Bayeux and the train station. The beauty of the property (inside and out) and the warmth of the professionals who run it far surpassed our expectations! We would definitely stay here again!

Our favorite stay of the 3 on our trip! It’s a lovely, small, family owned property a short walk to the city center. The proprietors and staff took great care of us! Highly recommend!!!

Un magnifique h?tel constitué d’une grande batisse de 1791 pleine de charme. 2 autres batiments modernes au fond du jardin à la fran?aise avec des chambres spacieuses au confort impeccable. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits avec beaucoup de plaisir. Il faut aussi souligner l’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires : Mathieu et sa mère. Et aussi la gentillesse de Nelson,jeune américain parfaitement bilingue et toujours prêt à vous rendre service. un h?tel de prestige qui pourrait facilement postuler à une 4eme étoile. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Mathieu nous a d’ailleurs très gentiment trouvé du lait végétal dans les 10 minutes. En résumé,une adresse prestigieuse dans un cadre enchanteur à 2 pas du centre ville.

This hotel and its team provides a perfect balance of experiencing 18th century charm and elegance with modern amenities such as the large modern and chic bathrooms. Due to a change of plans we spent our first night in one of the two new wings set in the fabulous gardens. The rooms are modern, spacious and functional, including a/c and a mini fridge. In my view perfect for short stays. However, the following seven nights we stayed in their premium ‘Omaha’ suite with three very large rooms, including a gorgeous new bathroom with seperate bath and large shower plus twin his/hers sinks. The main bedroom has a King bed, TV and there is a seperate sitting room. French doors from the bedroom lead to a large private balcony with furniture and a perfect spot for a morning coffee or afternoon drinks overlooking the gorgeous park like gardens. Note there is no a/c, nor a mini fridge, so this may not be ideal in summer. The staff are excellent, friendly and professional also helping with great suggestions and bookings. An easy five minute walk to central Bayeux this is a perfect place to base yourself for a short or long stay. Thanks Team!

Our family stayed in two rooms in the Orchard area and we were very pleased. The rooms are large and appeared to be fairly new and modern. The setting on the back porch was beautiful and is a pleasant way to spend relaxing time. There is a nice hike next to a stream nearby. The breakfast was delicious. We planned to eat at French bakeries, but we liked the hotel breakfast so much that we ate there all three days. We highly recommend the Domaine de Bayeux.
