I would give Domaine Burignon a six star rating, but we’re only allowed five. The location, the ambience and the splendid views are but a few of the many facets to recommend this gem nestled among the vineyards of the UNESCO-listed Lavaux wine terraces between Lausanne and Montreux. The proprietor (Anne) was proactive and easy to communicate with. She was very informative about the local wines and particularly the tasty wines made right there on the property, which are for sale at very reasonable prices. We booked the Lumière Suite for three nights which was excellent value for money. It looks out over Lake Geneva towards the massive peaks of the Chablais in France as they descend towards the south side of the lake in dramatic fashion. I would highly recommend a few nights stay in this lovely Chateaux.

Accueil glacial : nous n'avons vu personne jusqu'au moment de payer, à notre départ ! A l'arrivée, personne pour nous accueillir mais un jeu de piste pour arriver à l'appartement ("Lac"), biscornu avec un loooong couloir entre la chambre et les autres pièces, et une odeur désagréable. Le coin cuisine est rudimentaire. Contrairement à certains commentaires, on aper?oit quand même le lac sur la gauche depuis la chambre et le salon. Certes c'est calme et on est au milieu des vignes au-dessus du lac, mais c'est beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Staying for 3 days in this working winery above St. Saphorin in the Lavaux region was a special treat. Stunning views, exceptional service, and a lovely terrace to enjoy a glass of local Chasselas (produced on site) = unforgettable. Hiking through the vineyards and charming small towns as well as lovely strolls along Lake Geneva are quite the experience. Our host (Madame Bussy) was a wealth of information and could not have been more accommodating. Domaine du Bourignon is a slice of heaven - we plan to be back!

The location is super nice. We booked two bed rooms and one living room for three adults and a kid. The flat was quite spacious, and two rooms with windows facing the Lake of Geneva, one facing the winery garden. The host was very amiable and helped register free local travel tickets for us, with which we just needed to pay half of the ticket for the Chillon Castle.

Nous avons organisé une fête sur la magnifique terrasse du Burignon et dormi sur place. Nos amis nous ont dit que cela avait été une "soirée parfaite", vins délicieux, traiteur savoureux, service discret et efficace. Les chambres sont confortables et authentiques. C'est formidable de pouvoir bénéficier de ce lieu idyllique dans d'aussi bonnes conditions.

Nous avons passé une nuit en famille dans ce magnifique domaine . Accueil très sympas , chambres agréables et calmes avec une vue magnifique. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette expérience, nous reviendrons très certainement avec grand plaisir .
