First, our hosts Emma and Josef could not have been more friendly and inviting to their beautiful home, located in a tranquil spot near Culloden battlefield. The view across a wide stretch of golden farm fields was spectacular with cattle grazing in the distance. An excellent breakfast in the morning was prepared by Emma and Josef based upon orders submitted the night before. It was a wonderful respite from the earlier more hectic itinerary we had planned. We highly recommend the Doura Lodge.

Beautiful house with amazing views. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. Quiet peaceful location, close to Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns Our hosts were lovely and the breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked . You place your order the night before and say what time you would like fed.

Hosts Emma and Josef are so nice and attentive to all details. The house is gorgeous in a great location, very near to the Culloden battlefield and a short drive to Inverness city center, with all amenities and comforts. Breakfast was delicious.

Heerlijk! Zeer gastvrij! De kamer is lekker ruim. We hebben geen eigen douche/wc maar op de gang ( wel voor onszelf). Keurig een badjas zodat je makkelijk op en neer kunt lopen. De bedden liggen heerlijk. Ontbijt is lekker en gezellig. Ze hebben veel te vertellen als je dat wilt. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf hier.
