Truely remarkable experience at Dromoland Castle. From check in to check out, the staff are courteous, professional and welcoming from reception, restaurant / bar, room attendants and ground staff are all amazing. Complimentary room upgrade and breakfast provided as part of my credit card loyalty program was appreciated and welcomed. Beverage and food quality is excellent and delivered with prompt efficiency service with the castle and surrounding grounds and sporting activities inspiring. Would definitely stay at Dromoland Castle again.

Dromoland Castle is absolutely stunning. The castle itself is grand and the grounds seem endless to explore. The walled gardens are magnificent, complemented by a woodland fairy trail, golf course, lake, and an array of activities like archery and cycling, which we hope to have more time to enjoy on a future visit. Guests can learn about the estate’s rich history through a guided walking tour. The staff truly go above and beyond. Every member we encountered was incredibly kind and accommodating, and we were even upgraded in one of our rooms, which was such a delightful surprise. Breakfast was one of the finest we’ve had in Ireland, offering fresh dishes and an expansive selection. We also had afternoon tea, which was lovely, and the pistachio desserts were especially memorable. Throughout the hotel, there are comfortable lounges and quiet spaces where we spent our evenings playing board games. It couldn’t have been more perfect—an exceptional stay!

This is the MOST amazing piece of Ireland! The people were absolutely incredible, the service at the top of the scale and the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the history made it a magical experience! You MUST go at least once in your life.

The best of the best! At Dromoland, they cater to your every need! If I am in Ireland, I will be staying at Dromoland! The staff is superior and attention to detail is excellent. They have an excellent chef so, breakfast, lunch and dinner are a no trainers.

Property was amazing. Staff was mostly quick and knowledgeable. Did have a mix up with late check out as we had a spa appointment that ended at check out time and they said they woukd give us late check out and that did not happen. Our bathroom wall about the tub had a think layer of dust on it that fell into tub when you wiped it. Luggage guys were great. Front dest was fast and polite. Servers/bartwnders were good. Not sureidstay there again for thecost.

We recently stayed here in a stateroom for 2 nights to cap off our tour of Ireland. This castle stay exceeded our already high expectations. The service here is impeccable and it was fun just to chat up with the staff and hear their stories and experiences. The room was very large and had plenty of storage. It was low season and the hotel only had a few guests while we were there so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The golf course is right by the castle and there is a pool and fitness room by the Pro shop. It is by no means an inexpensive hotel but I would encourage you to at least stay a couple of nights if you wanted to check a castle stay off your bucket list. We didn’t want to leave and could have easily stayed there for a few weeks. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
