Great location along the Kerry Way. The room was small but comfortable. Guests all sat together for breakfast at a communal table (with our delightful host and former bus driver, Phillip) which gives you a chance to chat and compare notes with other travelers. A shortcut makes the walk into Kenmare short and enjoyable. Just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet.

A reliable and comfortable B&B, especially ideal for exploring the Ring of Kerry. The cottage is charming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, my only issue was that I found the hosts lacking a little warmth (although I’m sure they’re just used to a new set of guests arriving late in the evening and departing early morning). That said, I would happily recommend this B&B.

We stayed at Druid Cottage on our Kerry Way hiking tour. The location was great, just a short walk to town. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Bernadette was a fantastic host with helpful tour options. Breakfast was was delicious. I would recommend staying here when you're in Kenmare.

Bernadette and Phillip are the loveliest hosts. We felt immediately welcome, totally relaxed and nothing was any bother. Just brilliant! Our room was very cosy and warm, and we were treated to the most fantastic and hearty breakfast. Great value. Highly recommend!!

Wir haben eine Nacht im Druid Cottage verbracht. Es liegt direkt an der N70 dem Ring of Kerry. Der Ort Kenmare ist fussl?ufig in ca. 15 Minuten gemütlichen Gehens erreichbar. Dort gibt es mehrere Gesch?fte und Restaurants/Pubs und viele hübsche bunte H?user. Der Kenmare Stone Circle ist vom Ortskern nur wenige Minuten zu Fu? entfernt. Das Druid Cottage sieht schon von au?en sehr einladend aus und befindet sich in einem 200 Jahre altem Haus. Auch drinnen ist alles super gepflegt, liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war ausreichend gro? und war mit allem ausgestattet was eine übernachtung perfekt macht. Das Bad ist nachtr?glich eingebaut und eher klein, aber dafür sehr fein eingerichtet. Selbst die Unterbringung des Wasserkochers ist einsame Spitze. Zum Frühstück finden sich alle G?ste im Wintergarten an einem gro?en Tisch zusammen, so kommt man auch schnell in Kontakt miteinander. Bei der Anreise kann man sich direkt das Frühstück für den n?chsten Morgen aussuchen, es gibt mehrere warme Varianten. Ansonsten gibt es frisch selbst gebackenes Sodabread und Toast was schon auf dem Tisch steht. Der Kaffe war sehr lecker. So stellt man sich das perfekte urig gemütliche Cottage B & B vor. Ich würde sofort noch einmal dort übernachten.

Spent two nights here on walking holiday along the Kerry and Berra Way. Hosts could not have been more accomodating to two weary travellers. Rooms were quirky, clean and fresh. Beds very comfortable and warm. Shower and amenities as expected in b and b's. Host shared local knowledge and 'go-to' spots on local walking tracks and tips on what to watch out for along the way.

Phillip, host of Druid’s Cottage, is lovely! He extended a warm welcome, answered our questions, and made us at home. Our room was cozy, but the beds a bit short & soft. Breakfast was served at 8, which allowed guests to sit together & chat. Just delightful! It’s a short walk to town & Kenmare Stone Circle.

Stayed two nights with my young fella doing a bit of climbing,just to say Phillip and Bernadette were great hosts who's attention to detail was spot on. Lovely bfast both mornings and rooms nice and warm. Will be going again as I would love to know more about Phillip climbing the matterhorn no less!!!and Bernie who has her own paintings which are lovely dotted around the cottage.

Really quirky, authentic and friendly guest house. Stayed one night with my wife on hiking and socialising night. Great for a couple, very convivial for chatting fellow travellers, tasty breakfast. Unique place, I am sick of the usual purpose built accommadation so this was special
