A good value for your money
The Durrants is a lovely hotel in Marleybone. An upscale neighborhood of London. It has good restaurants and shops nearby. The bus is very close and the underground is about a 15 minute walk. It takes at least 20 minutes of walking to get to most of the major attractions in London.

Why have an AC u it in the room if it doesn’t work?
When I ask to move rooms, because it was very hot - 30C - they wanted to charge me ￡190 to do so. Not impressed. If they had a room free, even if it is bigger, they could’ve offered a reasonable price.
The Dyson fan they provided didn’t reach the bed.
There were no plug points besides the beds fur chargers l, or close to a mirror to dry hair.

Durrant's is a fantastic "under the radar" hotel in an "under the radar" neighborhood of Marylebone. An absolutely beautiful hotel with GREAT staff and service.
Wonderful dining and several cozy sitting rooms and lounges throughout the hotel. The hotel bar is the highlight and is a gem of cozy English decor and vibes, not to mention a great Martini!
Walkable to Regent's Park, Hyde Park, St James, Oxford Circus, West End, etc.
We fell in love with the hotel and will be staying here whenever in London.

Durrants was an old coaching house and has retained some of the charm of that era. It feels like home away from home and is in a very desirable area in London. There are numerous restaurants within a short distance and lovely shops to browse. Being greeted by a roaring fire when one comes in from November drizzle is so welcoming.

Charming
Loved the charming feel of the Durrants Hotel. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Cozy side rooms with fires burning for gathering with friends. Fantastic candy jars. Enjoyed the wood paneled bar. We will return when visiting again!!!
