Just had 2 lovely nights at Ebor House. What a find! Alex and Angela were perfect hosts in every way. Warmly welcomed, beautiful room with stunning views and excellent breakfasts. The quality of the locally sourced food for breakfast was very special indeed. The room decor was lovely, very tasteful. Their local knowledge made booking a table locally for dinner perfect! Just returned from yet another lovely short break at Ebor House, our first with Alex and Angela the new owners, we stayed in room 4 which was clean and very comfortable the breakfast each morning was perfectly cooked by Alex and was delicious, we'll be back next year.

This our second visit to Ebor House and it won’t be our last. What a find in Hawes to have such comfortable and relaxed accommodation. This time we brought friends who were equally impressed. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and attentive. Everything you would want from your stay and the breakfast is excellent.

We stayed 4 nights in mid-June, and we were absolutely delighted with our accommodation. Ebor House is perfect! Alex and Angela are attentive hosts and couldn't have done more to ensure our stay went well. Super tasty breakfast of local bacon, eggs, sausages etc and plenty of it. Our room (No3) has great views across to the fells and was so quiet , we could hear the dawn chorus with the window open. Great shower too and everything was spotless. Very comfy bed too. We'll be going back there next time we're in the Dales. As someone else mentioned, 5 stars isn't enough for Ebor House! Very highly recommended, great value, you won't be disappointed!.

Comfy bed, hot, fast & furious shower, spotlessly clean (including the pinny of the cook!) and first rate, plentiful and beautifully cooked breakfasts. Alex & Angela are thoroughly lovely hosts - they really go the extra mile and care deeply that their guests have a great stay. Easy parking, gentle little toddle into a lovely little village with plenty of places to eat and happy, approachable people. Hawes is a great base for getting around the dales generally. If I could give it more stars, I would. We felt so lucky to have found Ebor House and will definitely be back.

Lovely B and B five minutes walk at most into central Hawes and a lovely walk with views! Parking easy on the road outside the house - we had the twin room, on the first floor, Angela and Alex were great hosts and were so accommodating and gave great suggestions during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The house is comfortable, really comfortable beds and great shower and everything is decorated so tastefully and kept to a high standard. The breakfast was really tasty and extra toast, coffee and additions to the cooked breakfast were always offered. All in all we had a great stay and would stay again - we explored Hawes and Kettlewell and it was just the break away we needed - thank you Angela and Alex :)

We stayed for three nights in early-to-mid-October to explore the Dales, and Ebor House in the village of Hawes was just perfect for us. Street parking was easy. Our room was very comfortable, with seating, plenty of storage space, and a bit of a view, inclusive of sheep in the distance. In terms of location, Ebor House is on the edge of the village, but it is an easy walk to several pubs/restaurants/cafes. We also walked to the village of Hardraw and to Wensleydale Creamery. Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton were short drives away. The hosts, Angela and Alex, really made the stay special by doing whatever they could to make sure we enjoyed our time in the Dales. They were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating and we highly recommend Ebor House to anyone wishing to stay in Hawes.

We had a wonderful stay at Ebor House. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Alex and Angela who also provided us with great advice for how best to spend our time in the dales. We wanted to see as much of the countryside as possible so we did some driving routes - when we return someday, we will be prepared to take some nice walks. The room was very comfortable, the cooked breakfasts were delicious and the location was perfect for a short stroll into the village of Hawes.

We have just had four excellent days staying at Ebor House. Angela and Alex are superb hosts and made us feel very welcome. The house is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are modern and very comfy. The breakfast was perfect with everything you need to set you up for the day. It's a pleasant short walk into the town. Parking outside the front. We would definitely go back. It was perfect.

We just had the opportunity to stay in Hawes, in the Dales, and wanted to share our thoughts on this lovely B&B. Staying at Ebor House was a lovely experience. The hosts, Angela and Alex, are the loveliest couple and took such good care of us, from a really delicious breakfast, to helping us find beautiful walks around the Dales. The rooms are pristine and charming. It is in a quiet area of Hawes but still only just a couple of minutes from the center of the village. Truly one of the best that we have stayed in. We are forever grateful for the time that we had at Ebor house, and so wish we lived closer so that we could go every month :)
