We had a brilliant stay for 3 nights at Enkusero! All the staff were so genuine, attentive and even taught us some useful swahilli phrases. William and Alex brought us out on an outstanding safari. Utilising their comprehensive spotting and driving skills, we managed to see 4 out of the big 5 all in one morning, plus lots of other interesting animals. We would highly recommend staying at Enkusero Mara for an authentic experience as its owned and run by Maasai people so ensures you are supporting local business. Ps the food is very tasty as well!

We stayed at Enkusero Mara and had the most incredible time! The resort was beautiful and felt very close to nature. Everyone there was kind and welcoming. A huge thank you to our safari guides, William and Alexander – they were fantastic! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and they really made sure we saw everything. And we really did see many lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, 2 leopards, buffalos and and and … it was unbelievable. Every day felt like a new adventure. All the pictures we took are real – no filters needed! The animals were so close sometimes, it felt surreal. This trip was a dream come true, and I would absolutely recommend Enkusero Mara to anyone who wants the full safari experience.

My husband and I had the most incredible stay at Enkusero Mara as part of our honeymoon! From booking, the Enkusero team seamlessly organized our flights to and from the nearest airstrip and Nairobi. The camp itself is absolutely stunning with incredible views of the Maasai Mara. We loved being in the bush and being able to see zebras and other grazing animals from our tent and the common areas. Our tent was well furnished and extremely comfortable, and we loved the hot water bottles they put in our tent at night to keep the bed warm. What really set Enkusero Mara apart for us was the personalized and intimate experience. William and Alex were the absolute best guides for game drives, and we really appreciated everything they did to tailor the experience to our interests. We had so many amazing game sightings, often without tons of other jeeps around us, and William and Alex were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. At camp, Chef Robert's meals were delicious and Masenka was so attentive and friendly. We felt like Enkusero Mara truly thought of every detail, and we cannot speak more highly about the entire team and our stay. We would absolutely recommend this camp for anyone interested in a luxury, boutique experience. Thank you again to the entire Enkusero team for the trip of a lifetime!!

I had the most amazing experience at Enkosero Mara. William, Alex, Amos and Masenka made me feel so welcome. The game drives were breathtaking. Most importantly this camp is Maasai owned and run so I felt even better knowing that the money stays in the local community. Robert cooked lovely food and Masenka supplied daily coffee to rival my own at home. Highly recommend Enkusero Mara for solo travellers and I look forward to bringing back family and friends in the future.

Enkusero Mara is a luxurious private two tent camp right outside the Mara National Park. William, the owner and your guide throughout your stay, is a Massai local to the area with 10+ years of experience being a guide. He has an incredible eye and ability to find the animals. The Mara National Park can become very crowded but William was normally the first to find the animals. With William's local knowledge we were able to see the big 5 with no other vehicles around. We were maybe 3 feet from the lions. The highlight of the trip was when we were the only car watching three male lions eating a hippo. The accommodation is luxurious and the food is great. I highly recommend doing a bush dinner which William will organize free of charge. Access to the National Park (which is normally $200 per day) is included in your price. However, if you are flying out in the evening and are want one last game drive on checkout, this will be an extra charge for access to the Mara. William is more then happy to do this it just needs to be organized the day before. What we loved about this camp was how quiet and secluded it was. During 2 of our 4 days we had the camp to ourselves. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to avoid the crowds and wants their focus to be on expert guides to show them all the Mara has to offer.

When I was considering booking a safari for our group of four, there were plenty of camps available. Enkusero Mara stood out because it's locally owned, intimate, perfectly placed, and had excellent reviews. Our 4 night stay at Enkusero Mara blew away our expectations. It was one of the best trips I've ever taken, and I'm planning to send as many friends and family here as possible. What I liked most about Enkusero Mara was that everything was included in our nightly cost. The daily park fees, game drives, food from private chef Robert, drinks from our bartender Mesenka, sun downers, all of it. It made the trip really relaxing to know we were taken care of A to Z. We also added a balloon safari through Governor's Balloons, which isn't something you can skip - if it's available, you *must* do it. Enkusero will arrange the booking and coordinate the excursion if you let them know far enough in advance. I cannot overstate how personal the experience was. Our group had the entire camp and staff to ourselves, with the same guide and driver every day. As of 2024, there are two primary tent accommodations: one large family tent (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, shared living room), and one king bed tent with a great sitting area. Both had excellent patios and views over the Mara. The center of the camp has multiple comfortable seating areas with couches, lounge chairs, a bar, dining tables, and a pool with outdoor seating. But, our absolute favorite area was the elevated outside campfire patio, where we had plenty of cocktails at sunset. Our guides/drivers, Alex and William (one of the owners of Enkusero), I'm convinced were the best guides on the Mara. When notified by their close group of local Maasai guides of a unique game-spotting opportunity, they sped us there without delay. Our jeep was always positioned well for photographs, and they made sure to ask us if we had specific things we wanted to focus on seeing. Again, this was a very personal experience. If you're looking for a boutique, personalized safari on the Maasai Mara luxury touches that won't drain your bank account, this is your camp. I hope we can visit again!

We stayed at Enkusero four nights and it was one of the best experiences in our life! The camp is really beautiful and as there are only two tents, the experience is completely tailor-made and they take care of you in every aspect. Special thanks to our guide Entaya, who found all the animals and who knows the area and wildlife perfectly, he was so fun and had great conversation! We travelled in July and we even saw the river crossing twice. Sunsets by the river with a beer, nights by the fire, bush breakfasts and all the meals prepared by chef Robert were a delight. Thanks as well to Max and Williams, who helped with all the organisation, including balloon ride and a surprise my boyfriend prepared for me on my birthday with the masais, every moment was just beyond special! We cannot wait to come back, I recommend to everyone!

My friends and I talked about going on a safari for as long as I could remember. We were overwhelmed with the amount of options available but happened to stumble across Enkusero Mara through instagram. We decided to go ahead and book it through them and it was absolutely the best choice we made! This was a private personalized experience at a luxury camp and we had an incredible time! William and Alex picked us up from the airport in an open jeep. We saw zebras, gazelles and topi along the way. They stopped so we could take pictures. Having the open jeep was the best decision! When we arrived at the camp, the entire team greeted us and made us feel like home immediately. The camp is located a few minutes away from the Musiera Marsh. William gave us a tour of the camp, explained the procedures and told us that everything was personalized to what we wanted from the choice of food, timing of meals and the timing of game drives. If we wanted to go on a bush walk, we just had to let him know. William and Alex are local Maasai and super knowledgeable. As we drove around, they were able to spot animals from miles away and drive toward it. We asked them many questions and they answered each one. We were so lucky on the first day of our game drive. We saw lots of mongoose, warthog, and zebras. William and Alex spotted a cheetah from far away and drove toward it. We also witnessed a cheetah eating a gazelle. William and Alex drove right up to it and we got super close. We felt very safe the entire time. We also spotted a leopard in the bushes. When we got home, a giraffe was waiting for us in the backyard. It was perfect! On the second day in the morning, we spotted elephants, more zebras and giraffes. In the afternoon, three lions were fighting each other over a zebra. Once again, William and Alex drove close enough for us to witness the circle of life but still feel safe and secure. We also saw hippopotamuses and crocodiles. We saw a group zebras that looked like they were getting ready to cross the river. We waited for about an hour before the zebras decided to turn away. We had refreshments and asked a ton of questions. William and Alex were extremely patient the entire time as we took pictures of everything we saw. We never felt rushed. They were very attentive and waited until we stopped clicking away. Then they would ask if we were ready. It was always the perfect timing. On the third day, we saw elephants and giraffes during the sunrise. It was an incredible scene with hot air balloons in the background. We also went on a bush walk and visited a Masai Village to support the local community and their education. The fee to visit goes directly to the Masai village. The chef, Robert and Lori, were amazing. They asked us what type of cuisine we would like to eat and created a menu based on that. Everything was super fresh and appetizing. We looked forward to every single meal. For lunch and dinner, there was always an appetizer, entree and desse
