I stayed at escape cabins twice in my three week stay in Thailand. I stayed in two different 'cabins' ( actually they are well designed, spacious and stylish bungalows) whilst there are they were both immaculately clean with some cool design touches. The pool is always clean, gardens ell tended and the owners and staff are helpful, polite and friendly. I can't recommend this place more highly. It is well situated , very close to the beach but away from any noise, nicely tucked away.

Die Villa ist gro?artig. Die Lage ist perfekt, der Strand, Restaurants, Gesch?fte alles ist zu Fu? in Minuten zu erreichen und trotzdem ist es total ruhig, man h?rt nichts au?er der Natur. Jon und sein Team sind super gastfreundlich, warmherzig und hilfsbereit und so lieb mit den Kindern. Es gibt Handtücher für den Strand und es wurde jeden Tag geputzt, die Betten gemacht und sogar das Geschirr abgewaschen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Just spent a couple of days at the Escape Cabins, the new owner Jon was a great host. He had just taken it over and was running around trying to get lots of things organised. He is completely refurbishing it and has lots of great ideas for new colour schemes and updating the whole place. I wish him the best and think it will be amazing. I did stay here 6 yrs ago and it was paradise and I think will be again.

This is such a lovely part of the island and we were delighted when we arrived to find the cabin so clean and comfortable. We stayed in the 4-person one with the mezzanine. Everything was working well and the little seating area at the back was private and quiet. It was great. I assumed that someone would come to clean daily - like in most Thai places, you can’t flush loo paper and it was an open bin. And four people using one bathroom means it gets grubby fairly quickly.. but no one came. On day 3 I asked for cleaning but all that happened was the bins emptying and a few fresh hand towels. The loo and the sink were getting really gross by this point. I’d have been happy to do it myself but there were no cleaning brushes, cloths, bleach etc. Its such a shame because it’s a really nice place. I couldn’t wait to leave by day 5. It felt like we were living in a student squat at this point and I felt a bit queasy just being in there.
