Its a beautiful location ,right in the heart of Coonoor. The 2 bedroom cottage is beautifully furnished and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The owner kept track of our requirements over whatsapp . Overall a great experience and highly recommended

We enjoyed our stay at Fairy Glen ! It was great to have personal chef to cook meals of your Liking! The sunset views were amazing from the private terrace! We found the beds a little uncomfortable and overall decor little underwhelming for the price we paid! Note for NRIs… please have a local means to pay or a google pay as they do not accept foreign credit cards! I had difficulty paying!

I had a very good stay here. I’ve known this place for years which made the experience even more comfortable. The host Uzma is great and very welcoming, with great hospitality throughout the stay.Even though she was not available personally her response was great throughout our stay. The food was delicious, especially the biryani and Regina is truly an amazing cook. Have tasted this Biryani after almost 20 years now and tastes still the same.The outdoor garden was huge and very well maintained, which was a lovely bonus. Will definitely visit this place again and highly recommend it to others.

Location was very nice. Nice atmosphere with good garden . Lots of birds. Bedroom were of a fairly good size. Living room and dining room, small. Clean well taken care of by the staff Food was very nice home-cooked. Probably our biggest attraction.

The staff gave a warm welcome and took care of all our needs. They were polite and respectful. Rooms had heaters and clean blankets. So we did not feel the winter cold. Water heaters were working all 24 hours. WiFi was working. The premises were very clean. We felt it was a home away from home. We had an excellent view of the town. Travelling in and out was easy. Food was hot hygienic and very tasty. It was not expensive. Laundry facilities were good. We would like to visit the place again.

I spent a full week at Fairy Glen this December and it was a truly restorative experience. This is a beautifully maintained heritage property with deep roots, and it feels more like staying in a cherished family home than a standard hotel. The property features a lovely owner’s suite and a guest suite with a massive enclosed terrace, perfect for soaking in the views. The heart of this stay is the people. Uzma and Zaid are among the kindest and most welcoming hosts I’ve ever met. They even invited me to lunch with their friends and family, where I had the pleasure of tasting Uzma’s outstanding traditional mutton biryani and khati dal. This was a highlight of my trip! On-site, Nivas is a fantastic property manager who is always available to help, whether it's arranging a car or an auto, or coordinating events for the day and making suggestions that best suits your interests. Regina and Fatima, the property staff, also provided such warm, homely care throughout my stay. If you love nature, you will adore the constant chirping of birds and the serene atmosphere. It’s located about a 15-minute walk from local restaurants, and for those who enjoy a good vibe in the evening, Hopscotch bar is just a couple of minutes away. Great people and great memories to be made there! Fairy Glen is an authentic homestay, not a 5-star corporate hotel, so it’s best enjoyed if you embrace the "slow life." Coonoor is a laid-back town; restaurants typically open around 7:00 AM, so don't expect early-bird coffee or breakfast at 5:00 or 6:00 AM. It’s also worth noting that while the chef can cater beautifully for groups, it’s a bit more challenging to cook full meals for a solo traveler, so plan your dining accordingly. Having your own vehicle is a plus, but as mentioned, Nivas is great at coordinating transport. From the seamless communication during booking to the constant follow-ups from Uzma, I felt completely looked after. I'm leaving with so many good memories to cherish. If you want peace, heritage, and genuine care, this is the place to be!

Fairy Glen....The name stands true to it. It's, such a wonderful place, surrounded by lush greenery with a visual treat of tea estate next to the cottage but tucked inside a quite and calm lane which will elevate your experience of staying there. The beautiful and we'll maintained lawn with bright flowers of different shades and sizes are really photographers heaven. We had the place surrounded by mist during our stay both in morning and evening. The service that is offered by the staffs in the property makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed as the taste buds are treated with delicious in house cooked food and the hospitality is amazing. To sum up its a best and right place to have a family as well as friends trip.

We had an amazing stay at Fairy Glen. The property is really well located. About 8 mins walk to Moddy's. The property is huge and you get free access to the garden which is really beautiful. The terrace gives you amazing views. We loved our stay here. Nivas the manager was really helpful in arranging everything that we need. He got us auto or cab to the property whenever we needed. Regina and Fatima were really accommodating to our food preferences and made us delicious lunch and breakfasts. Uzma the host was outstanding. Though she was not there at the property but she coordinated everything very nicely with her team. She had some amazing recommendations for both Ooty and Coonoor. We would love to go back.

A cosy and wonderful stay tucked amongst the alwarpet area of coonoor, walkable distance to cafes and nilgris store. Always silent from the busy road sounds and life and jus whispering sounds of nature. I Always come here with my family for a relaxing and calm stay. Fabulous food that thay cook, and a wonderful team.

A charming 2 bedroom cottage with quiet and green environs. Very well kept property with easy access to main Bedford area. Food is delicious and the cottage has a terrace as well where you can enjoy breakfast. Regina, Fatima and Nivas the staff were always ready to help out to make our stay comfortable. Definitely a lovely stay
