Great place to stay with a well furnished interior and in a great location in the centre of Whitby .Stuart was very helpful and provided lots of useful information with regard to places to visit and eat . I would recommend Fawcet House and Whitby to all generations .

This place is excellent and the price is right but be aware that this is an upside down house, so a lot of stairs to cope with. As well as all the facilities stated in the advert that this house has got there are many extras, like dishwasher tablets , washing powder etc, everything you will need in the kitchen all you will need to bring is toiletries for the bathroom. The views are some of the best in Whitby from the top in the living area and the location is central. Last but not least a place to park your car but again a lot of stairs to cope with. It will keep you fit lol. You’ll have a great holiday here.

This is the perfect base to explore Whitby. It’s a bit tricky to find as it’s tucked away but so worth it. Spotlessly clean with two double and one single bedrooms. One bathroom en suite and one full bathroom it’s ideal for two couples. The owners have thought of everything we wanted for nothing. Gorgeous view from lounge (top floor) and you go down to the bedrooms. Loads of space. Two minutes to heart of Whitby. We loved the walk to Sansend and fish and chips from The Magpie. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will all be back.
