Stayed here three days and enjoyed the whole experience. The hostel is spotlessly clean, the most important thing for me and the double room though sparse was very comfortable and cosy. Great bed. The bathrooms are modern and kept very clean. Also plenty available on both floors. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery etc. Lots of local information on 'what's available' posted on the walls in the dining area. Small TV lounge. A few stairs that may be a problem for some people, check before booking. I loved meeting some of the other stayers and swapping stories. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here a gain for a few days. Thanks to the helpful staff.

A great location in Taupō. Friendly staff and a relaxed vibe at this backpackers. Rooms are a little tired, but adequate. Communal areas are clean and functional. Free tea and coffee make up for no in room kettle. Free parking next door was a bonus. All in all a good place to stay on a budget.

步行20分钟到市镇中心，作为青旅算中等偏上水平，只为过夜已经足可以接受了。前台有只超胖的狗子很逗，见人就跟着走，增添了不少乐趣

A perfect hostel experience! The staff were lovely, the kitchen was clean and the bedrooms were very cozy. A cute garden with flowers, hammocks and benches to relax outdoors gave it the little extra. I strongly reccomend this hostel if you need a place to stay in Taupo!

Big pod-style dorm with its own bathroom. Didn’t feel like suffocating. Great kitchen, social life and merch. People were friendly and the staff was helpful at any moment. There’re supermarkets close to the hostel ! It’s also easy to walk to the lake.

Location, facilities, amenities, services, hospitality..etc. Everything is good and great. I didn’t expect there are such spacious bunk area, kitchen, canteen and outsides garden for relaxing , reading. My best hostel experiences in New Zealand. I strongly recommend.

A cool place with great rooms - we were in a 4 bed pod room and whilst the room was small, the pods were big and had enough space to put all your things (and had blinds for additional privacy). The hostel itself is a nice space and great to hang out in the warm evenings. The kitchen facilities were good and had everything needed. The bathroom facilities were good but perhaps a bit small for the number of people needing to use them (I had to wait on occasions). Overall in a good location and would stay again.

Backpacking my way down to the south island and I stopped in this place. I came early so I didn't have to check in, however the guy said I leave my bags and go for a walks to huka falls. This was a beautiful walk and took about 2 hours. I love it, which gave them enough time to make my bed. Once I checked it, the staff were so lovely and everyone around, it was such lovely chilled back atmosphere. The beds were not on frames to just mattresses which was super comfortable. And they gave you two pillow!! This was incredible. I love it every minute. Will be recommending to all my fellow friends and family. Thank you so much. Even though you had to check out by 10 also you could hang around areas that were not you your room so gave me time to charge my phone.
