Excellent value, plenty parking, safe, quiet, good position few minutes drive to town Basic accomodation, freeview tv fine, plenty tea and coffee making in room, fluffy towels, clean and tidy, recommended

We weren't sure what to expect, given the 24hr security barrier staff on the main gate, but they had our reservation so no problem. The facility is used during the weeking week for residential fire training courses, but is open to the public for weekend bookings. No food is available although you can use the guest kitchen facilities including microwave. Reception desk very helpful. The site is large and we needed car directions to find the right residential wing. It's quite modern, complete with lifts, and rooms are spacious with comfortable double beds. For the Cotswolds it's cheap, but obviously no frills and you have to get dinner and breakfast elsewhere. We had sandwiches in the evening (bought from the Coop in Moreton in Marsh) and then treated ourselves to a hotel full breakfast the following morning. (again, there are several such in Moreton who are happy to help) Don't be put off.

Everywhere in the Cotswolds were so expensive for our one night stay after visiting relatives so we chose this ‘bargain basement’ option. In a military style campus with security on barriers to let you in. It felt most unwelcoming, although the staff were pleasant enough. We got to our block and parked & unpacked. However, the lift to floor 2 stank of cigarette smoke, the landing and corridor smelt like hospital food or school dinners. Apparently visitors could use a kitchen. The room was stuffy and smelt musty. Everything looked clean but we decided we’d rather drive 2.5 hours home rather than stay the night. We handed our keys back and left.

We booked through a third party and it was made very clear what facilities would and would not be available. We didn't need a central location or food but just a clean room and a good price and this is exactly what we got. It was very clean, parking was free, plentiful and it felt secure. Entrance via a barrier manned 24/7, lovely staff. Also to note, the shower was excellent and I love that the hospitality tray had Fairtrade tea bags and a decent amount of milk capsules. We would definitely stay again, although next time I would ask to be not on ground floor as windows are large, open wide and are low to the ground which is not my preference from a safety point of view.

It's an amazing hotel, the views are superb, the rooms are really clean and the the staff is nice and helpful. You have a forest in front of your room where you can have a great stroll before breakfast. We highly recommend the Fire Service College. We loved our stay there

Recently attended a three day Christian Retreat at the College (organised by our local church). The absolute perfect setting to escape from the hustle, bustle and stresses of daily life. The College has first class accommodation, excellent food and friendly and courteous staff (particularly the chef and his team). And as Christians, the availability of the beautiful College Chapel, together with lecture rooms was perfect for the group's (20) needs. Highly recommended

Quiet, peaceful, free safe parking, very clean, basic with no frills but perfect for aur overnight stopover. Think VERY CLEAN fire service training accommodation in a quiet secure location off the beaten track..... Thoroughly recommend for a value overnight stay!

Couldn't get booked into our usual place so booked here as it gave use of a swimming pool and gym. You have to pay to use these and, as there was no one to give an induction my husband could only use the pool. Apart from that it was fine. Mo parking problems like some places in Cotswolds and on outskirts of Moreton but suited us

Clean, comfortable, and tidy room with a shower. Free parking and WiFi Very good base for the local area. Good value for money . Security on the gate if needed. Local pubs and cafes 5 mins away. Supermarket approx 10 mins or Tesco local 5 mins ..

What a find! Very well organised. Perfect for a short stay. Clean and spacious room. Practical private bathroom. Safety box in the room. Super safe location, with plenty of car parking monitored 24/7. Friendly staff. Away from traffic of nearby town centre.
