Helen was really nice and has so many story, the house was really pretty inside out. We’re really having a good time there ??

Spent a lovely couple of nights here with our child. The house and surrounding garden are lovely, and the location is absolutely fantastic. Private parking is available to the side of the property. We stayed on the top floor which was a bit hot (the weather was unusually warm and humid during our stay). However, the room and bathroom was great - clean and well appointed with period furniture. They also had a nice side balcony that was accessible to sit on and we enjoyed it during the evenings. Breakfast was excellent. The BnB was just a short five minute walk to everything. We'd book again.

Très bel accueil, chambre propre et beau décor victorien. Plusieurs chambres ont un balcon, nous ne l’avions pas mais un beau long patio était disponible. De bons déjeuners les matins et la dame en charge était très gentille et aidante! Emplacement idéal pour aller marcher en ville, près de bons restaurants et tout…

Bien que la maison soit historique et contienne des antiquités, le confort et la propreté n’étaient pas au rendez-vous. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre McGlinchey’s Landing Suite. Le drap contour du lit escamotable était sale, les deux matelas étaient très inconfortables et que dire des oreillers! Une serviette de la salle de bain était sale, une lampe était poussiéreuse. Le déjeuner était décevant. Bref, ?a ne vaut pas le prix. Il y a d’autres B&B tout près, allez ailleurs! Le quartier est très agréable et de bons restos/boutiques sont disponibles dans le coin, facile de se déplacer à pied.

From the time we checked in until we left we were made to feel very welcome. Helen, the owner, met us at the door and told us she had upgraded our room to one on the main floor. Awesome room with its own sunroom for relaxing or reading. Her breakfasts were great with a chance to pick what you wanted. We were the only guests for the 3 nights we were there so we got lots of attention! We loved the whole feel of the house and I should mention that this was our 1st B&B experience but it won't be our last. We have already told Helen to expect us again next year.
