We stayed at Folly Hill Farm B&B over the August bank holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sally and Mike gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, instantly making us feel at home. The accommodation was spot on – spacious, spotless, and with a wonderfully comfortable bed that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The highlight each morning was the delicious home-cooked breakfast, which really set us up for the day. Everything about our stay was just perfect. We can’t recommend Folly Hill Farm highly enough and will definitely be returning!

Fantastic place to stay, 2 night camping, perfect location and host was very helpful One of the best sites I have stayed on for a long time Amenities superb and kept clean hot water showed which are free, good size pot wash area and Fronde freezer service.

Stopped at folly hall farm last week in the B&B both me and the Mrs absolutely loved it. The B&B is clean modern/contemporary and quite spacious for two people with a lovely free standing bath large shower and a lovely cumfy bed, tea coffee hot chocolate even a dyson hairdryer (no good to me I'm bald). Sat outside on the evenings with a bottle of wine the views are amazing. The full breakfast Sally cooks is spot on which include the free range eggs from the hand tame chickens. We will be returning in August for our yearly camping trip at folly hall farm but might be looking over at the B&B wishing we were in there but we love camping there too. So thank you Sally & Mike for a lovely stay and see you both in a few month Ainsley, Kelly & Girls

Mijn man & ik hebben 3 dagen in de B&B van Folly Hall Farm gelogeerd. We werden begroet door de eigenaresse Sally. We hebben volop genoten van een fantastische omgeving, B&B waar echt NIETS aan ontbreekt. Het voelt als dat Sally haar hart & ziel in de accommodatie & Kampeerterrein heeft gestoken. Elke dag werden wij ook verwend met een overheerlijk ontbijt verzorgd door Mike haar echtgenoot. De omgeving is zeker de moeite waard, dramatisch mooi die Yorkshire Moors & kustlijn. We hesitate to write this review as we want to keep this wonderful B & B to ourselves. Sally is fantastic, so knowledgeable about the area and after only 2 days we feel we have a very good friend. The accommodation is exceptional, could not think of anything that has not been supplied. The breakfast, served in the garden as the weather was lovely, is enough to keep you going all day. Sitting by the pond watching dragonflies, fish, moorhens (and sheep) is so relaxing, and the chickens roaming freely and visiting often are a treat. So looking forward to returning. Anita and Ken xx

We spent the August BH at Folly Hall Farm in our motorhome. The campsite was set up for couples and families alike and the scenery was unbeatable. Rolling countryside, covered with heather, and a short bus journey into Whitby. So much to see and do in Whitby. We even saw Dolphins from the sea wall! Would definitely come back to this site as beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Simon & Amy xx Sally is a great host x

We stayed for 3 nights at the B&B It was so good. Sally was the perfect hostess, nothing was too much trouble, from the delicious breakfasts with homemade bread and preserves and freshly laid eggs from the chickens roaming around the site. the accommodation was 1st class, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with TV, fridge, plenty of wardrobe space. Good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, biscuits and a chocolate waiting for you every evening! The large bathroom with a lovely roll top bath, I was tempted, excellent separate shower and all the toiletries you could ever need. Sally was lovely always checking we were ok and happy to spend time for a chat. The location was ideal as its quiet so you get a great nights sleep but within easy reach of Whitby and all the local beaches. We would highly recommend Folly Hall Farm to everyone.

The first of many visits to the B&B, Folly Hall Farm is a real ‘home from home’. Sally, the friendly and welcoming owner, greeted us on arrival and could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation is spacious, clean and of a very high standard. The awesome breakfast started each day of the holiday and I’m sure we’ll return.

If you want a small, simple campsite with good facilities, set in stunning countryside and independently owned then look no further. It’s as well run a camp site I’ve visited and Sally the owner could not be more friendly. Will definitely be back next year!
