If you’re looking for a very unique and refined experience in the Calistoga area look no further. Our host Lynn And Greg were phenomenal. From the moment we checked in, they graciously offered us a beautiful glass of wine and dietary restrictions. Each morning we were served a gourmet breakfast in our room. We stayed in the cottage and loved every minute of it. The bathroom is worth mention as it felt like we were taking a bath or shower in the forest with a beautiful waterfall. It is very quiet and comfortable. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and the decor is lovely and inviting. Lynn And Greg provided additional snacks including a selection of coffees plus all the creature comforts one would love to have when away from home. We feel as if we are now part of their family. Equally notable is the pass-through fireplace that warms the beautiful room and the bathroom. For those that like to cook the cottage comes with a smartly appointed kitchen and beautiful tableware. This sanctuary is definitely worth the price of admission. They also have the cutest and most friendly dogs and cat. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

We had the Castella room and it was gorgeous. There were so many special details. I have a hard time sleeping in beds other than my own, but the bed was extremely comfortable (where did you get that bed?!!). The hosts are very accommodating. And the breakfasts they brought to our room every morning were absolutely delicious! If I return to that area I will definitely stay there again! If you're considering - book it now!

The cottage in the back of the property is a quiet retreat. Lynn and Gregg made our stay easy with fast check-in and out, prompt breakfast every morning, and anything else we needed. The cottage has a jetted tub that looks out into a small waterfall. The gas fireplace adds a nice ambience and a little warmth. The bed was comfortable. The reading nook is a plus. My wife and I felt so relaxed here. There is a full kitchen, which is a bonus compared to other places. Many of the basics are supplied - full fridge, stove, oven, microwave, sink, dishwasher, dinnerware, and cookware. Some of the cookware is fairly well used, and we could not find a cutting board. It's not a big deal if you don't plan on making anything too complicated. For us, we made do. It was nice to have a kitchen to stay in and have a meal together.

Fantastic gem of a B&B, close to great restaurants but off the beaten track. Quiet, well furnished, spacious rooms and great homemade breakfasts. We were greeting on our arrival with a bottle of good champagne and it got better as we stayed. The bed was super comfy and large, great spa tub for soaking and lovely views. Can’t wait to come back.

We just spent two days at this fabulous Inn with friends for my birthday. The hosts are very hospitable and pay so much attention to detail from the amenities, thoughtful appointments in the very large rooms and especially the breakfasts. It is an intimate, quiet secret in Calistoga. We could not have been better taken care of and can't wait to return. ??

Had a great stay at Potter’s Foothill House. We stayed in the Palisades cottage, which was a quiet, private spot on the beautiful property. Breakfasts were amazing every morning! Highly recommend!!!

Even more perfect than we even imagined, even from the great photos. From arrival to departure, everything was even more well thought out than we had hoped for. Cleanliness, comfort & convenience were all afforded us the entire time & the breakfasts each morning in beautifully prepared China and fresh & local produce delivered each morning in a very welcoming picnic basket. I could go on & on, but best of all was the impeccable service from Greg & Lynn. We haven't stayed at B&B's lately, but we certainly enjoy this one and experienced true European hospitality and a new vision to look for B&B's like Potters again!

B&B with a heart
We had a very relaxing long weekend at this B&B owned and managed by husband and wife Lynn and Greg. We reserved the “Castillo” Room. The room was large, fully appointed with all items to assure comfort from soft bedding to water bottles, even by the bathroom sink, to a loofa, to cushy towels. Lynn welcomed us with rose, an orientation on what to do or see nearby and champagne and chocolates in our room. The next 3 days we were served delicious breakfasts, sweet and savory, in our room, carried to our doorstep by Greg. The breakfasts were prepared with TLC by Lynn with personalized “menu” handwritten cards. The portions were varied and generous. One afternoon, Lynn and Greg invited us to an impromptu afternoon feasting on a generous array of charcuterie with another couple and sampling on a few wines. We highly recommend this B&B for the supreme hospitality.

The owners/hosts paid great attention to details, great service, and offered warm hospitality. This B&B is very private with just 2 rooms. Ours was large, comfortable and very well-appointed (soft bedding, reading nook, love seats, glass table and stools). The hosts took care to place water bottles bedside and even by bathroom sink. We were greeted by Lynn with rosé and an orientation on what to see or do nearby. There was also a champagne bottle in our room with chocolates. The next few days we were served delicious breakfasts, both sweet and savory, prepared with TLC and delivered to our room by Greg. Special touches such handwritten “menu” cards and greetings were much appreciated. The favorite part of our stay was an afternoon sampling charcuterie and tasting wines with another couple. The best place to stay for a romantic weekend getaway hands down!!!! The amenities, privacy, and the tastiest breakfast in the morning delivered to your room.
Beautifully decorated cottage, with full kitchen, laundry, relaxing bathroom with 2 person jacuzzi.
Lots of beautiful wineries around, hiking, cute Calistoga and St. Helena downtown with lots of restaurants.
Will be back again! ????
