Everything was fantastic. Friendly service, happy hour, hot tub, breakfast; it all lived up to the hype. The rooms are a bit noisy, but the place was built in 1885 so what can you expect. Would definitely stay again.

A classic old world style lodge in a great location. Excellent breakfasts prepared in house.

Dorcas was wonderful at check-in (very helpful with information about Frisco). The room was lovely.

Staff was fantastic! Breakfast was top notch and they made sure we were taken care of.

The staff was engaging and the food was excellent. Didn't know they had a happy hour with appetizers so nice surprise.

The breakfast menu was fine, but the sausage was delivered luke wam to the table. The waffle was fine, but the portion was quite small. The staff was not readily available. Overall the food service was the only downside of the visit. The afternoon horsede hour soup was watery and tasteless. The mountain views were wonderful.

First and foremost: The property owner made me feel welcome immediately upon my arrival. Susan is a warm and charming individual. The lovely lodge was built in 1885. The room was clean. The downstairs lounge area had a fine table for both a generous breakfast and afternoon hors d'oeuvres! Hot tub, bicycles available. Nice location.

Such a beautiful lodge. I had a great stay and the staff is excellent, especially Claire. It's like staying at a cozy grandma's house with really amazing breakfast. The public transportation system nearby is awesome. No car needed. I had a shuttle drop me from the airport and used public transport even to go to Breckenridge for the day. Loved it.
