Great location. Our stay at the hotel was extremely comfortable and fun. There is a football stadium right behind the hotel and the main clock tower is hardly 2 blocks away where a fair was going on during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

the rooms were comfortable. Food was good. house keeping was good. the hotel was centrally located near clock tower. Most tasty Indian Food in Thimpu Market Centre. Located at the heart near druk hotel. They have Indian chef, and the staff, especially Leki Wangmo was very hospitable in her approach and took care of our order very well. Overall must visit to have Indian food here.

Wonderful Experience :- I stayed at Gakyil hotel 3rd time during my business trip to Bhutan in July-2023 and I truly loved the hotel. Great location overall for sightseeing, recreation, dining and getting around. The hotel staff members ( mainly Yuden@Reception, Urmela Gurung@FNB,Bema Dhal @Cafe, Urmila Gurung @ Housekeeping and entire team ) were very helpful, friendly, especially courteous. The room was spacious , extremely comfortable and the restaurant food was delicious. Overall it was splendid experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bhutan - ' The Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon'.
