Host Mary was fantastic…so sweet & friendly that we immediately felt at home! Her beautiful garden B&B is in a great neighborhood, very safe & walkable. We were in town for a wedding and Mary gave us advice on things to see & do and everything she recommended was great! Also super yummy breakfast…highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Garden View BB. Mary was an excellent host and very attentive to her guests. The house is warm and friendly and our room was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful B&B in Newport, RI We stayed at Gardenview B&B for 2 nights in July. Ms. Mary has a beautiful house which she generously opens to her guests. She prepares delicious breakfast every morning, from scratch and it’s different each time. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and, yes, with the garden view. The neighborhood is quiet, easy to navigate through. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

Gardenview Bed and Breakfast is a lovely, quaint and cozy accommodation. Mary is an extremely sweet and warm hostess. She is also an amazing chef, providing delicious breakfasts from homemade recipes. You will not find a nicer person than Mary who, being native to Newport, is a very knowledgeable source for the history of Newport, its residents and points of interest. Thank you Mary for a wonderful weekend!

Mary is an absolute delight. She is very hospitable and helpful. The surroundings inside and out are beautiful and welcoming. We were on the first floor and were able to step outside into a lovely garden with tables and chairs by a small waterfall. Mary cooks breakfast every morning and it is delicious. She offers fruit salad, granola, yummy orange scones with chocolate chips, and a main breakfast such as french toast, pancakes, or a country breakfast made with eggs, homefries, cheese, bacon and toast. Coffee is ready before breakfast so you can get a cup and take your time. Mary will ask you what time you would like your breakfast served. It was wonderful. She has taken a lot of care in decorating the bed and breakfast and it is very pleasant. Our room was large and plenty of room. Very cozy. We got home today and we are already planning to go back! We highly recommend staying here!

Great stay at a true bed and breakfast. Truly owner occupied, Mary is fantastic! A wonderful woman, who has curated a classic Newport home in a charming residential neighborhood. Only two rooms, like staying with family, a very intimate setting. Thank you for a wonderful night, wish I could have stayed longer.

Mary is a joy and welcomes you into her home and makes you feel like part of her family. Nice quiet place to stay that is close to attractions. Breakfast was lovely and we look forward to returning soon.
