We spent three beautiful days here. Though I’ve stayed at many hotels before, this is the only place that truly felt like a home away from home for our family. When booking, we secured an even better rate than expected—all arranged effortlessly through a single phone call! Upon arrival, the reception staff welcomed us with such warmth, and check-in took less than five minutes. Since the hotel wasn’t crowded during our stay, they upgraded one of our two rooms to a panoramic suite (higher category). Even though we’d forgotten to request adjoining rooms, they thoughtfully placed them side by side. The rooms were stunningly designed, spotlessly clean, and the beds? Pure comfort! Located just 5-6 meters from the ocean, lying in bed made us feel like we were floating mid-sea. Stepping onto the balcony was pure magic watching waves crash against rocks, sunlight glinting off foam like "liquid diamonds," paired perfectly with a glass of wine or beer. The staff treated us like family. My daughter cried when we left, heartbroken to say goodbye. Their year round private beach ,calm, swimmable waters adds immense value to the property. A heartfelt thank you to Manager Mr. Indika, my friend Sudesh, and the entire team for giving us the best vacation of our lives. We’ll definitely be back soon!

The location and beach of this property are amazing ! And that is basically it. Such a nice property but so understaffed and unmaintained. The rooms are not maintained with anenities and fixtures that do not work properly, the cleaning standards are realy poor, the beds are so uncomfortable. The service is also realy bad. Not worth the money !

Lovely hotel, great position. Food and staff very good. Restaurant lacks a bit of atmosphere. Swimming pool in great position, wonderful views out to sea. Beach is lovely although the waves are quite powerful. Nice garden area to chill, eat lunch.

Beautiful location! Even had a little private beach’, and the pool looked out onto the sea. The food at the restaurant up top was lovely, and there were some great views from here as well. Staff very helpful - at one point we lost power to our A/C, and they immediately came and sorted it out for us. Very kind, thank you!

Fantastic beachside escape with spectacular views, friendly service, and an overall relaxing atmosphere. Located right on the coast, the hotel provides breathtaking views of the ocean from nearly every corner. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast on the balcony or relaxing by the pool, the panoramic view of the waves crashing against the shore makes the experience unforgettable. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making your visit as pleasant as possible. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone goes out of their way to provide excellent service and helpful recommendations. The rooms could use some TLC, spacious, but they feel in need to a bit of maintenance.It's still a great place to spend a couple of days.

Super location and super service. We checked in late and they were not aware we were vegetarians, but Ishaan and his team went out of their way to make sure we were well fed. The hotel has fantastic views from the reception and the dining room. The manager was very helpful and nothing was too much of a bother. However, the rooms are dated and need a revamp.

We recently stayed at Graton Cape for two days over New Year, and while the hotel itself is stunning, our experience was somewhat marred by the lack of helpfulness from the reception staff. Originally, we had booked for three days but were informed that our room was booked out and we could only stay for two. We were okay with this adjustment, but it set the tone for our experience. The reception staff seemed overwhelmed and were not very informative. We felt lost at times, as no one guided us around the hotel or provided essential information like where to find breakfast. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Panasonic room, which offered breathtaking views of the beautiful beach. However, we did encounter issues with the door that wouldn't close properly. Despite informing the reception about it, no one seemed to address the problem, which made us feel uneasy about the security of our belongings when we left the room. Graton Cape is a beautiful hotel with incredible potential, but the customer service fell short during our visit. We had stayed at some less expensive accommodations in Sri Lanka where the customer service was outstanding, which made the contrast even more noticeable. I hope that the management can focus on improving the reception staff's training in customer service to match the hotel's beautiful Setting.

Fantastic location- right on quiet beach, plus pool and kiddies pool. Rooms on beachside have fantastic views. The other side has views of hills. Staff were lovely , great breakfast and views from top floor restaurant. They can provide transport to the airport.

This hotel is professionally run. The staff are excellent and very polite. The cooking is of a good standard. The room rates are very competitive and the overall level is as good as a uk or European hotel. It has a private beach beach ball kayak. Indoors various games books films pool table table tennis darts spa small gym and a nice pool.

Abbiamo passato qui gli ultimi 3 giorni di relax dopo il nostro intenso tour in Sri Lanka . Uno dei pochi hotel con spiaggia che grazie a due piccole insenature e’ possibile farsi il bagno in mare rimanendo sempre comunque vicino alla riva perché il mare in questo periodo nella costa ovest è molto agitato con fortissime correnti . Avevamo una seaview bella spaziosa e molto pulita. Piscina con prolungamento scenografico in hall , con vista sul mare . Hotel pulito , personale gentilissimo e attento . Ristorante al terzo ed ultimo piano con vista spettacolare . Particolari complimenti allo chef veramente bravo , essendo in pochissimi ospiti i piatti erano tutti alla carte’ , eccellenti . Ci siamo veramente rilassati con piacere in questo hotel . Molto consigliato
