Brilliant find
What a beautiful place from checking in to entering the room which was lovely the breakfast was perhaps the best if eaten in a long long time, faultless stay can’t wait to return again.

What a lovely, friendly little hotel! I often come to the Torbay area to visit my relatives and would definately stay at Gresham Court again. The location is within walking distance to Torquay harbour. Parking is via the Torbay council and is minutes from Gresham Court. We stayed in 3 rooms with both our daughter and their partners. The Gluton free options for my youngest daughter was 'par excellance'. The English breafast was also superb. Lovely, spotless rooms and comfy beds.We will be back! Peter & Sara

Gresham Court is a very comfortable B&B in Torquay. Location is great, nice quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk to the harbour. The rooms are super clean and fresh with lots of nice additional touches such as fresh milk in the fridge in the room for tea, lovely toiletries and other really nice extras. Breakfast was fabulous with loads of choice. A really nice stay.

Had a great stay. Every thing was first class, good size room spotlessly clean as was everywhere, bathroom was recently refurbished to a good standard, really good shower, towels excellent large and soft, bed was advertised as a king bed but only a double, but quality of sleep was still really good, very comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was superb such good choice both continental and cooked top ingredients and so well cooked. They also go above and beyond with free offerings in room as good if not better than you would find in some 5* hotels. Just an aside because of the shape of room we had there was not enough room for a bed side table one side of bed, so a small shelf would be good. But what a great find and if in Torquay again would most certainly stay here. Many thanks.

We stayed at the Gresham Court hotel in Torquay recently and we have found a real hidden gem. Our hosts Russell and Caroline were exceptional and they both totally understand the concept of customer care, which I'm afraid is sadly lacking in so many establishments. The hotel is decorated in an art deco style and it has been done beautifully and to a very high standard. Our room was very bright and again very tastefully decorated, it had everything you could need and some lovely extras, its so nice to have fresh milk for tea and coffee, the bed was very comfortable with great quality and clean bedding. The bathroom did not disappoint, it was very clean and well stocked with everything you may need and again lots of little extras. The shower cubicle was large and the shower was really powerful. We had two wonderful breakfasts, a really good choice of continental and top quality ingredients for the hot offering, once again I cant fault the service. As in most large towns there is no on-site parking but there are lots of options for parking close by. I'm aware we had one of the larger rooms but I'm in no doubt that all the rooms have been decorated to the same high standard with great attention to detail. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Gresham Court hotel for your stay in torquay and want to thank Russell and Caroline for a wonderful stay.

I recently had a function at Gresham Court (weekend 23rd March 2024) and I was so so happy with everything. From the initial point of contact, right though to the very end of the evening, Russell and the team at Gresham were super helpful, accommodating and kind. The lovely art-deco style function rooms (bar, lobby and lounge area) are well appointed and large enough for all 40 of my guests to move around freely. The food menu was great and there is a PA system you can use too. They did their very best to tailor a party package to my needs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. A few of my out-of-town guests also stayed at the hotel and they were delighted with the rooms and the service throughout their stay. I am so pleased to have found such a gem in Torquay and wish them every success.

One of the nicest independent hotels I have been to. The room and bathroom were both spotlessly clean and the attention to detail with all of the complimentary drinks and Toiletries was exceptional. The bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and good quality ingredients and items. The owners could not do enough to help and make sure the stay was perfect. I will be recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting Torquay.

Absolutely delightful stay at Gresham Court. Russell and Caroline can’t do enough for you, so accommodating with an early breakfast for us on our last day as we needed an early start. The room was large with a super king bed. Lots of little extras that you would expect to pay a premium for, like wine and soft drinks being replenished in the fridge every day. Also lovely toiletries in the bathroom, bathrobes and slippers. So much choice at breakfast! I couldn’t find anything to fault our stay at all. And the bonus is that it’s a five minute walk down the road to Torquay Harbour, bars and restaurants. Can’t wait to book a return trip.

From the moment the door opened Russell welcomed us. Wanted to make sure we were settled in ok. The reception has a cosy feeling, Devon’s lovely. Cleanliness is second to none. In the room it was spotless there was nothing that wasn’t available.. all the little additional needs from a sleep kit and spray, to blankets and dressing gowns. The food was amazing, there was nothing not available. Lovely hospitality and my daughter and me will definitely be going back. 11/10!! Thank you guys.. truly a lovely stay.

Our experience at Gresham court exceeded all our expectations, the room had recently been refurbished to a high standard and was very clean. There was everything you’d need even if you’d forgotten something! The 4 of us couldn’t believe the choices and quality of the breakfast. Russell and his wife were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble, if you go you won’t be disappointed. 10/10
