Everything about this hotel from the first email they sent to me to ask if there was anything I needed ahead of time to the checkout was incredible. I used to work for the Beverly Hills Hotel which is part of the Dorchester collection. I have extremely high standards when it comes to service and every single person I encountered in this hotel on the staff was professional, engaging and friendly. As an American who has worked in the service industry for 40 years, this was very refreshing. I have found most British service to be lackluster at best. Perhaps why this stood out in my mind so much. The room was incredibly tidy and clean. The hallways were bright and there were tiny little decorative touches everywhere that made all the difference. The Rose room where we ate breakfast was beautiful with custom-made flower chandeliers that reminded me of Chihuly. The waitstaff were delightful! I highly recommend a stay here. The value for money is great. I suggest bringing cash to tip because service this good deserves a reward!!

The surroundings were really pleasant. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, offering to take luggage to my room. The room was extremely clean and was above my expectations.

We had a wonderful stay. Very convenient location, we could walk to everything. Reception team was lovely. Staff at breakfast service were a bit slow and could have been more attentive. Overall a great option!

Great staff and service, decoration is oldy world and would benefit from a refreshuch like they have done with the reception area. Standard double rooms were fine with decent coffee and a Nespresso machine. Bed was ok . Shower was good hotel is very quiet and suffers less with noise than their competitors on the High Street. Breakfast was superb
