Tressa and Steve were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was amazing and we looked forwarded to it each morning. The family size room was perfect and we all slept like babies. We will surely be returning to Halwell Lodge.

We had a friendly welcome from Steve in this very pretty and tastefully decorated lodge, the breakfast was one of the best with locally sourced produce cooked to perfection and served by Tressa who was bubbly and fun to chat to. Thankyou both very much and hope to see you again.

The hosts were wonderful, the property and rooms were quaint and beautiful, and the food was terrific! Top-notch BnB! We would plan our next trip to the area around staying there!

Wow, what can I say other than perfect in every way. We were made so welcome from the moment we stepped through the front door. Our room was amazing with views overlooking the rear garden. Breakfast was fabulous. We can't recommend it enough and can't wait to visit again.

We had a super stay at Halwell Lodge. We stayed as a family of three for a week and enjoyed our time there. The hosts Tressa and Steve are wonderful and chat with guests, providing tips and information about where to visit in the local area. The accommodation is beautiful and eating breakfast every day in the conservatory looking over their gorgeous garden and was so lovely. Breakfast is exceptional with great quality produce which is cooked to perfection and good portions (so sad to have to make my own breakfast when we get home). The lodge has a charming feel with art and plants providing a homely setting and the whole place smells gorgeous. Our room had a double and a single bed with plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom boasted a huge freestanding copper bath which was a treat. Great off road parking for all guests. Easy access to St Ives by bus and taxi and there is local beach which is walkable called Porthkidney which is lovely. Would highly recommend Halwell Lodge.

A wonderful stay for 2 nights in this well-appointed B&B on the outskirts of St Ives. Hosts Steve and Tressa were lovely - happy to chat, and we had quite a bit in common. The room was a bit small for our copious baggage - but because we'd asked for a ground floor, and had been warned by them, we were happy with it and especially the very comfortable bed. Our room was beautifully decorated, quiet and airy, and the bathroom was plenty big enough for us as well. Breakfast was a highlight in the conservatory - with a vegetarian alternative, which was a first in our travels so far. Very highly recommended as a base for exploring St Ives.
