I stayed here a few nights before and after my trekking/climbing trip with Summitclimb. This isn't the Ritz, but it is a value priced 3 star hotel, and it seemed luxurious when compared to the tea houses! Great location on the edge of Thamel. Staff very friendly and helpful; manager is hands-on. Breakfast great. The courtyard is the best feature: you are outdoors but protected from the weather (see photo). Room overlooked the courtyard, so it was quiet as well as adequately comfortable.

I stayed here before my trek into the Himalayas. The staff are wonderful. The owner is great too. I left a bag with them while I went trekking and it was safe and untouched on my return. The rooms are absolutely fine and the showers work well. Excellent WiFi. Excellent location in a bustling part of Tamil.

Wonderfully staffed hotel, and with a delicious breakfast! The owner is always around to help with any needs or questions, and warm and kind overall. The rooms are spacious a with nice bedding and showers, some even have a small balcony. Loved the hotel and it is central to all the main shops in Thamel as well.

Wonderful staff and owner, constantly helpful and kind. Was a pleasure to stay here. They made appropriate adjustments for my medical conditions and were incredibly helpful when providing information and transport around the local area.

The Harati Manor Inn was really great. The location is phenomenal and the staff is absolutely amazing - very friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for a good place to stay in the Thamel area of Kathmandu, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel on front and back end of trekking. Great value and situated only a short walk from shops, cafes and restaurants but just far enough from the centre of Thamel. The owners and staff are very very kind and helpful. Room was comfortable with hot running water. Breakfast was always fantastic. I will stay here again on my return trips to Nepal.

Stayed at Harati Manor Inn for several days on the front and back end of a climbing expedition. The husband and wife owners care a lot about providing great service, which is apparent throughout all aspects of your stay. The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable with a/c and heat. Don’t expect it to be a 5-star place, but for this category of lodging I don’t think you could do any better. It is an excellent value to which I will return on future trips to Nepal. The location is on the edge of Thamel, which is great as it’s very convenient, but you’re also not in the middle of all the Thamel chaos.

Nice clean comfortable hotel in a good location on the edge of Thamel. The management is superb, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and generous. The rooms are nice, with air conditioning and heat. The bathrooms have showers with lots of hot water. The lobby is very comfortable. The breakfast room has a nice indoor/outdoor environment with green plants. The owners are a husband/wife team and are there every day. You can tell they really care about their guests. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and in my opinion this one is the right combination of good value, good quality, with professional staff in an excellent location.
