I first stayed here with my partner in 2023 on our first trip together to Torquay, this was our second trip to Torquay and there was no doubt that we would be staying at Harmony again! The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean and the breakfast is soooo good. As someone who struggles with anxiety around food/hygiene/cleanliness, staying at a hotel can feel scary but the Harmony makes me feel very at ease. The dining room is lovely, it's decorated with lots of music paraphernalia and its very clean. There's a lot of both hot and cold food and drink options (I highly reccomend the croissants and scrambled egg). There's a mini bar in the very cosy lounge, and there's cans of coca-cola for ￡1! I love my coca-cola so I was very happy. ?? The hotel is very conveniently located. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the seafront, and its a very lovely and scenic walk there. It's also about a 6 minute walk to Torre Train Station, and 15 minute walk to Torquay Train Station. If you fancy a late night snack/drink or realise you're out of some of your essentials, theres a convenience store about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. There's so much to do in the area: if you're going in August there's the fairground by the seafront, so many lovely restaurants to choose from, Torbay Beach, arcades, etc. I haven't been yet but there's also a Theatre! It's got good transport links to Paignton and Brixham. Michelle and James are so lovely, they're wonderful hosts. They're always there to help us, guide us, suggest us things to do/places to eat. My partner and I had a very unfortunate situation with booking transport to get to Torquay and we had to change our arrival date twice! I spoke to Michelle on the phone and she was very understanding about the situation. We'll be coming back to Torquay in either 2026 or 2027, either way, we'll be booking our stay at Harmony Bed & Breakfast. :) (Sorry the review is so late!)

Second time staying at Harmony Bed and Breakfast and second time absolutely loving it. The staff are absolutely lovely and have great knowledge of the surrounding area, travel routes, events, etc. The rooms were sizeable and spotless, and the beds are so comfy. The breakfasts are some of, if not the best, me and my partner have ever had, and you’re able to customise which items you’d like day-by-day. The place never felt loud or uninviting, it had a very pleasant atmosphere that was the perfect ending to a busy day. The location is perfect, 10 minute walk from the train station, 15 minute walk from the beach, which is itself 5 minutes from another train station and 10 minutes from Torquay, as well as within walking or short bus ride distance of all manner of things to do. Me and my partner stayed for five days and not single one felt boring, there is just so much to do. I cannot sing the praises of this place highly enough, and all that for such a reasonable price, me and my partner have both agreed, if there are no rooms available at the Harmony Bed and Breakfast then we aren’t going to Torquay.

Having just returned from another great stay at Harmony B&B I feel I must write a review saying how fantastic this place is nothing is to much trouble the quality of the rooms is first class and the breakfasts are amazing all in all you won't find anything better it's with every penny Michelle and James you are ?? a credit to the hospitality industry ??

We have just returned from an excellent Autumn Break. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. (Coffee/tea station, mini fridge, large TV and good bathroom.). We stayed on their new autumn package of bed, breakfast and evening meal which included an optional quiz, which we attended and was fun and very well organised. The evening meal food was superb, a good varied menu with plenty of options, freshly cooked and well presented. The cheese board I had on the second night was one of the best I have ever experienced, with a selection of 5/6 excellent cheeses and plenty of crackers. The breakfast was also excellent with a full choice of options, again fresh prepared and very tasty. Excellent hosts.

Another fabulous stay at the Harmony Hotel, it’s now our second stay since Michele and Jamie took over. We really appreciated the early check-in having travelled for 4 hours and the generous parking takes out so much stress. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet been to the rear of the hotel. Greatly appreciated the very reasonably priced honesty bar which we used generously and the tasty breakfast set us up until the evening- hope to see you both again soon

We had a great time at Harmony. The room was extremely comfortable and homely. Very quiet and comfy bed led to great nights sleep. The room was immaculately clean, with everything provided that we could possibly need. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and freshly cooked. The hosts made a real effort to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return, when we will hopefully book better weather!

We’ve just stayed in Room 6 a superior king size bedroom. It was beautiful the bathroom was really impressive. The room was spotless and the towels were so thick and fluffy they also smelt beautiful. We had breakfast and that too was first class, so much choice. The host Michelle was so helpful couldn’t fault the hospitality. I would recommend this B&B to everyone for a great stay

Gastvrije ontvangst, ontbijt prima. Warme gerechten werden op verzoek vers bereid. Lekkere bedden. Fijn dat er een lounge was waar je ‘s avonds een poosje kon zitten. Drankjes pakken ging “op vertrouwen” Internet was voor nederlandse begrippen niet goed. Goede uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen.

Een zeer mooie B&B. Keurig verzorgde kamers en breakfest. Daarnaast ook nog een kleine Lounge voor een drankje. De B&B zit op een goede plaats vlakbij treinstation en ook nabij strand, boulevard en haven. Het was in 1 woord Geweldig. Een great thanks to Michelle. Leonard and Hanneke

We stayed for a week in Harmony. We felt welcome. The room was kept very clean. There was a delicious breakfast, We got helpful tips for sightseeing. There was genuine interest in our experiences and this made our stay truly special. We really appreciated the personal touch in everything from Michelle the host.
