The staff was nice. We went on a Safari and we got to see lots of animals and we went on a dinner boat cruise and got to see hippos and and some other wildlife and that was a lot of fun. The rooms were nice. We stayed there total of five nights Very peaceful and relaxing in town is not very far away as in Pakwach. For some easy shopping and gifts

It's a great place to stay during your safari. The rooms are nice and staff is friendly. Great location by the lake! ps: if you are lucky enough to sit by the fire and listen to Onen Haron play some music you will have an amazing time.

Nachdem wir zun?chst in einer Nachbar-Lodge eine (katastrophale) Nacht verbracht hatten und wir darauf bestanden, uns eine andere übernachtung zu suchen, versuchten wir es bei der Heritage Lodge. Wir wurden, obwohl es morgens um 8h war, ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen. Sofort fühlte wir uns wohl. Die übernachtungen sind in hübschen, sauberen Bandas mit Moskitonetzen (obwohl eh keine da waren). Gute Matratzen, hei? Wasser... für die übernachtung schon mal perfekt. Ruhige Anlage... kein L?rm, nichts! Und das Essen war ebenfalls bestens. Da wir Vegetarier sind, haben sie uns zwei Abende sponatn etxtra etwas Gutes für uns gekocht. Jederzeit wieder!!!

After paying in advance for room and half board (breakfast and dinner), staff insisted that we produce evidence we had paid since their booking agent had not yet transferred the funds we had sent many weeks prior to our stay. Our receipt only showed total paid so we were forced to pay again for dinner for the group. This took hours to resolve and created a bad experience for the entire evening.

Americans should avoid it
You pay high $ value for this hotel and the first thing is the half mile road leading to hotel is nothing but pot holes and absolutely rugged. Entering the reception area, there was not enough light to fill in the forms, etc. Amenities in the room were less than adequate. Poor lighting and just one plug to use your charger hair dryer etc. BTW, no hair dryer.
