夫妇で温泉宿を満吃しております。私たちにはいつお世话になっても良い印象しか残りません。お料理も美味しく最后まで饱きず楽しめ、お世话になるスタッフさんの心温まるおもてなし、お出迎えからお见送りまで気持ち良いです。他の旅馆业者さんにも泊まって勉强してほしいですね。今回も大満足でした星5ツ以上！また再访させて顶きます。

A very calm and high quality Ryokan. We stayed for two nights in a traditional Japanese room, which I wasn’t looking forward to but really enjoyed. The futon matresses (make sure you use 2) were very comfortable and the simplicity of the room was very characterful. However access to comfy chairs would be appreciated. We loved the meals in the private dining room. There were four of us and we enjoyed the dinners and the breakfast. The food is very creative and beautifully presented. A lot of care and love goes into it. Wine was reasonably priced. What we missed was a place to have pre dinner drinks. You could by beers from the vending machine but it seems they don’t encourage it. The shuttle bus service was very efficient. We had an early bus to catch on departure and no taxis were available so the hotel laid on a special shuttle transfer for us. Excellent service.

English not spoken. It was very difficult to communicate with the front desk. Fortunately, we had a fabulous attendant, “Sana.” Food, even on the “western” menu was primarily fish and tofu. That’s ok if it’s your first night, but frankly, I am Sick of raw fish. The ryokan was pretty well located relative to other activities. Transportation access was good. In short, the food variety made our visit significantly less “palatable.”

Ryokan incantevole poco fuori dal centro di Takayama. Il servizio navetta gratuito dalla stazione è stato comodissimo sia all’arrivo che alla partenza. Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e attenzione da una giovane ragazza che ci ha seguito per tutto il soggiorno, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. La stanza, in stile tradizionale giapponese, era ampia e suggestiva. Bellissimo anche l’onsen, con vasche all’aperto davvero rilassanti; in alternativa è possibile prenotare un onsen privato di coppia per 50 minuti. La cena kaiseki è stata molto curata nella presentazione e interessante nei sapori, anche se alcuni accostamenti risultano diversi da ciò a cui siamo abituati. L’unica nota è la distanza dal centro: circa 30 minuti a piedi. Per il resto, un soggiorno davvero incantevole!

Wow, Hidatei Hanougi may have been our best stay in over a month traveling Japan, and we've been to some nice places. Yes, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. In this case, that starts with the greeting you receive on arrival and just keeps going. Our Japanese style room was huge with private onsen and zen garden. The public onsens are spacious and extremely well-appointed, including one set in a beautiful walled garden. Kaiseki meals were amazing, and our kimono-garbed attendant, Misake, who saw to our every need was a marvel. Love this place! Arigato gozaimashita!

Charming ryokan in north Takayama a good walk from the old town area. Our room had a private courtyard with onsen - great for relaxing at the end of a day of exploring. Several restaurants - we ate breakfast there. Remember to take your shoes off in the entry and use the slippers!

The fourth and best ryokan we have ever visited in Japan. We had an own hot bath in the private garden, and the room was very spacious. As we stayed two nights we had two dinners and breakfasts. Our first dinner was kaiseki and second shobu-shobu. Both were excellent. We tried both Japanese and Western breakfast, so my advice is to choose Japanese, as it was great, but Western just good. This ryokan is about two kilometers from the railway station, but they have a shuttle bus service running a few times s day. It's not cheap but worth every penny. The staff was very friendly. Some of them spoke fluent English, but it was easy to discuss with anyone. The ryokan also warmly acknowledged our anniversary.

Quizás hemos tenido mala suerte, no lo sé pero mi experiencia en este hotel no ha sido nada agradable. La habitación en planta baja, con jardín privado y onzen. Lo más bonito, el jardín. El resto necesita una actualización urgente. Te dan zapatillas usadas que al caminar se pegan al tatami. El resto, aunque sea un Ryokan, muy elemental. El desayuno muy flojo. No tienen capuchino descafeinado y me pusieron café licuado y leche. El yogur en un recipiente de mu?ecas, El zumo de naranja mini y no es natural. La calidad no es buena. Reservamos una cena y eso ya fue un despropósito. No sé aún por qué pero nos pusieron un menú del que solo comí la Hida. He de ser sincera , a mí no me gusta el sashimi y mi pareja dijo que estaba bien, pero el resto del menú infumable. Nos quejamos de la baja calidad y los cobraron íntegros. La poca atención no tiene nada que ver con el resto de hoteles en los que nos hemos alojado.

This was a fantastic experience. This was our first stay in a ryokan and spoiled us for other ryokans. The hotel seemed just the right size to give us a very personalized visit. Our rooms had private onsen which were actual hot spring baths on the balcony. The hotel staff were amazingly attentive, especially as we had food restrictions. Breakfasts and dinners were in a private room just for us. The food was gorgeous, tasty and -plentiful. Staff were great. We had a great tour of Takayama, a small village with a great market area. I cannot say enough good things.
