Excellent stay!!!
Excellent stay, felt very welcoming upon arrival. Was even offered a room with a larger bed due to my height, but the bed and the room we booked was amazing. Looking forward to our next stay.
This property is set in beautiful grounds and was very peaceful. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The continental breakfast, fruit, tea & coffee and other provisions in the room were more than ample. All in all, great value and would thoroughly recommend. Would just mention that location of property in at the top of a steep hill.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean.
Breakfast is provided in the rooms with a small kitchen. Muesli, cornflakes, coffee and tees, fresh fruits and bread are available.
This was our second stay at Higher Faugan can only describe as excellent clean comfortable and quiet with nice views we enjoyed the breakfasts and slow pace holiday would recommend 100 % Doug and Wendy were helpfull and welcoming a very pleasant stay
Luogo immerso nel verde. L’ accoglienza è fatta direttamente dal proprietario molto preciso e disponibile . La ns stanza era spaziosa super pulita e molto riposante . L casa é vicino a molti luoghi da visitare a 10/20 minuti : Penzance, Mousehole, Poolgon se volete fare una degustazione di vini della zona, marazion, saint Michael Mount ??, è molto altri luoghi . In camera è presente il necessario per fare colazione, tutti prodotti del luogo. A mio avviso la scelta della colazione in camera rende ancora più comoda la struttura . Consiglio davvero questo BeB per visitare la parte più a sud della Cornovaglia .
We had an amazing stay! The day was a bit rainy but we could still appreciate how beautiful the location was! The property is surrounded by nature and a garden. Doug, the owner was very friendly and attentive! We got an upgrade, and the room was superb! Very clean and great size! Also, we were impressed by the breakfast offered in the room. I would recommend staying here 100%!

Extremely peaceful and high quality rooms. We stayed in room 3 and the vista from the window was gorgeous! The night sky was beautiful and was the sun rise out to Newlyn. We enjoyed how quiet the room was and nobody bothered us so it was easy to settle and appreciate the privacy . Having some basic breakfast items in the room suited us ok and we didn’t feel obliged to have to be social in the morning or take up time which we instead chose to spend having a lay in. Doug was very kind to us and seemed hands on and very proud of the standard of his home, he has a lovely pond and guest are able to go and and spend time there. The area is signposted. It is VERY IMPORTANT to read ALL of the website information!!!!!!! The house is a PRIVATE property and the owners are very clear that this is their stance. In this day and age we are so used to being able to roam hotels and guest houses that we can sometimes forget the personal space and personal awareness preferences of others! Curiosity is a natural human trait, especially when we see something as enchanting as this place. There are strict rules that the majority of the inside and outside is out of bounds and that the offering is for a suite only, there are not common lounges to go and read for example. As long as you are happy with this and understand the proposition then you will have a delightful stay and bliss out in the gentle energy of the set back location. If you are feeling energetic and mobile then the walk down to the harbour is invigorating and stunning. Thank you for a lovely stay
My wife and I celebrated her birthday with a 2 night trip to Cornwall. We wanted a country accommodation (outside of Penzance), but with easy access to St. Michael's Mount, Minack Theatre, Lands End and Mousehole. Higher Faugan Parc is a beautifully kept manor down a long lane, quiet, with nice gardens, and only about 5 minutes from Penzance. The host Doug met us when we arrived and helped us identify a lovely nearby farm/pub called The Kings Arms in the village of Paul (it was so good that we ate there twice). The accommodations were clean and quiet. The breakfast options were awesome and were available inside the room for consumption at any time. Best of all, we could come and go as we pleased throughout our 2 day stay.
A really nice apartment type hotel set up. The room was massive and really nicely done out. The hotel is set in its own grounds and you probably won’t see anyone else apart from the owner who was really helpful and lived in the building himself. He also put a lot of effort into keeping the rooms very clean. The room is stocked with a choice of food for breakfast and you make your own which was good as it’s nothing worse than having to get up early when breakfast finishes at 9:30 etc. I don’t think the hotel allows children but not 100% on this.

Lovely very large room, lots of space, very clean and a very peaceful setting. The owner Doug was really friendly and helpful. The room was 5 star. The only downside was its a little bit of a walk from bars and restaurants.
