An amazing experience! We stayed 3 nights and loved the beach and the relaxed atmosphere. The cabanas were very comfortable. The staff were really helpful and made all the guests happy. The food was delicious. The location was fine for us but is a tuk tuk ride away from Arugam Bay which may not suit everyone. But I would definitions recommend and will revisit.

We stayed 2 nights at Hilltop Cabanas and wished that we could have stayed longer. If you are looking for a quite and relaxing place, you are totally right at hilltop. The beach is beautiful and we were most of the time alone there. It is also possible to surf in front of the accommodation. The Cabanas have really flair with an outside nature shower. In the surrounding area there is nothing to do, but we actually liked the silence. The food is amazing - best we had so far in Sri Lanka!! Thomas, one of the owners is a god in the kitchen! With Thomas you also have nice company and great conversations. They plan to renovate the Cabanas for the next season - so, I believe it will be even more beautiful.

Reluctant to write a review because I want to keep this place all to myself! This is my new favourite place in the world! The cabanas have a view of the surf break which has nobody else on it (crazy as main point has about over 100 people and it's only 40 minutes away), the most amazing food and great service. Thank you so much for having us Thomas, we will definitely be back.
