This is our second Thanksgiving weekend stay at this lovely property in the historic district of Saint Paul Minnesota. We rented the entire home which has 4 large and sweet bathrooms, and the master has a large and he room as well. We also rented the 2 bedroom carriage house. We had 9 adults and 1 baby and had plenty of room. This property is usually a bed and breakfast where the rooms are rented separately, but there is a large common area on the first floor with a dining room that can accommodate 12 or more, again room, a large living room, and an amazingly well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has all the gadgets you would ever need, and then some. It has a cabinet full of spices as well as separate large refrigerator and freezer units. We accommodated 20 people for dinner on several nights and there was still plenty of room. Having 2 dishwashers in the kitchen helps with clean up. The property is located right near downtown Saint Paul, a few blocks from the magnificent Summit Avenue with gorgeous homes from the turn of the 19 Century which is a perfect place to take a long walk, near the Saint Paul Cathedral, and less than a mile from 2 different freeway entrances, I 35 and I 94. It is a mile from University Avenue and the Asian area of Saint Paul with a plethora of small restaurants. I can go on and on about the excellent location and all of the amenities that are a walk away. Working with the owner Kevin who lives on the third floor has been a pleasure as he tends to answer emails within minutes, and provides his cell phone number for emergencies and I am glad we have not had to use it. Upon entry the house was all beautifully lit up including the yard, the Christmas tree was in the center hallway also lit up. I can recommend this for not only a bed and breakfast, but for the purposes of a large family get together as it worked well for us 2 years in a row, and we are planning to use it again next year.

This place is amazing. Super clean, spacious rooms, very comfortable bed. They have a snack bar with complimentary snacks and drinks along with a coffee machine. Everything you could want! We felt so spoiled. The historic home has been kept up so well and is so beautiful to see the original woodwork. They even have an antique rotary dial wall phone! Kevin was so gracious and is a wonderful host. His breakfast was superb! It was easy to get in, had free parking and we felt very safe! We will definitely be back.

One of the best stays I’ve had in a while, and I travel a lot. The BnB is amazingly clean, comfortable, and convenient. But, Kevin and his cooking make staying here essential. Amazing breakfasts, thoughtful extras and details everywhere, and a cozy atmosphere filled with kindness. You won’t regret staying here. 15/10 would stay again.

This place is super charming and beautiful. The rooms are just as they appear in photos on the website and are super cozy. The owner Kevin is very attentive but I always felt very independent and had a lot of privacy. There are a lot of extras provided too! I loved the snack bar in the hallway where I had access to free snacks and drinks. So much nicer than paying $3 for a vending machine water at a chain hotel! I had to depart before breakfast hours so Kevin made a to-go breakfast for me that included the best muffin I’ve ever eaten!! I’ve been back multiple times and it’s definitely my go-to when I’m in MSP!

My recent stay is at least my 4th. There are plenty of restaurants nearby in the historic neighborhood and I can walk alone in the evening and feel very safe. Easy parking in front or behind the house. The breakfasts are delicious and healthy. Kevin is really friendly. Rooms are lovely.

This place is spectacular. A beautiful, spacious historic home, with every comfort and convenience you could think of, and freshly cooked to order gourmet food, accommodating of food preferences. The host is super helpful and friendly.

Kevin was a wonderful host, chef, and recommender for this historic home. We savored the variety of delicious breakfasts with several choices each morning of our 4 days. We enjoyed meeting other guests, and walking to many sites and restaurants.

We were impressed with the hospitality, the gorgeous surroundings, the elegant and comfortable room, the attention to detail, the spacious shower, and the delicious breakfast provided each morning with a variety of options. We had the choice of sitting at a community table with other guests or an individual table. It was over-the-top great place to stay. We’re looking for reasons to go back to St Paul, just so we can stay there again.
