Paula the Innkeeper was the best! So warm and inviting, we truly felt that we were staying in a friend’s home. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the little town up the hill was quaint and inviting. The best part however, was the spectacular view! Would highly recommend this Inn over staying in town.

Holualoa is a unique, warm and inviting upscale Hawaiian vacation home, now a B&B. The property is meticulously maintained with gorgeous ocean views from way up high in a cloud forest. It has easy access to downtown Kona (quick Uber ride) or short walk to a quaint village nearby. Be sure to grab a map from reception area to walk along the pathway through the interesting grounds. Paula the innkeeper is an exceptional people-person. My husband and I enjoyed meeting her.

When my wife and I came home from staying at the Holualoa Inn, our spirits felt lighter. The peacefulness of the Inn and grounds are unsurpassed in my experience. The morning coffee bar was delightful, and the breakfasts in the common room were delicious with fun variety. All the staff were genuinely pleasant and ready with smiles and helping hands. The view of the island, falling away from the Inn to the ocean, was mesmerizing. I could not recommend a place of lodging more than this!

We absolutely LOVED the Holualoa Inn! The serenity of the property is second to none. The quality of the breakfast is off the charts, healthy and prepared with so much care. The cleanliness of the place is excellent, and the service delivered by your staff is best in class. We truly enjoyed the spiritual atmosphere and much appreciated the soul-searching trail in your garden. My stay here at Holualoa Inn is probably my favorite stay in all the times I’ve visited Hawaii. This 30 acre coffee estate is one of the prettiest places I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful property to walk around, elegantly furnished and decorated, amazing daily breakfasts and afternoon baked good for guests. I honestly can’t think of one bad thing to say about this place, other than my stay was just too short. I will likely stay here every time I’m on the big island. It’s just so perfect and beautiful.

I spent a week at the Inn with family and it was extraordinary. The staff was wonderful and friendly, the luscious breakfast each day was an experience and the grounds are lovely. My wife and I have traveled extensively and the Holualoa Inn is one of the finest places we've stayed at in the world.

This was by far the best place we stayed on our 2 week island hopping vacation! The Inn is designed in a way that takes your breath away. Every piece of furniture, every window treatment, every inch of the house is curated in the most tasteful way. The grounds are 10 acres of gorgeousness. Between the coffee and fruit trees, sit several art installations with a meditative walking maze grounding the exterior space. When you didn’t think it could get better… add in the best breakfasts and afternoon snacks we had on our trip. The staff was helpful, cheerful and clearly took pride in working at the Inn. If there is a negative, it would be the frogs at night who are quite vocal but ear plugs are included in the room and we slept well. This might be one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. AND wait until you taste their home grown coffee ??
