Uzes est vraiment une très jolie ville et l’hostellerie proven?ale permet d’en profiter en plein centre ville, avec un parking à coté. Nous avions une grande chambre calme. Bon petit déjeuner. Conseils donnés de fa?on sympathique, merci. Et prix très raisonnable.

Hostellerie Proven?al is ideally situated in the centre of Uzes, right next to the charming old town centre. Parking is easy in Uzes and there are two large, open air parking lots about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. They are Parking des Cordeliers (recommended by the hotel) and Parking de La Gare, which is just round the corner from the first one. The hotel is a lovely building and although we arrived early, the charming gentleman on reception, who I take to be the owner, was happy to let us check in. Our room on the 3rd floor (there is a lift) was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. The en-suite was also very smart and, most importantly, the room had very good air conditioning. Although it was nice to have breakfast served at the table as opposed to the ubiquitous buffet, I would class it as fine without being exceptional. In hotels prior to and after this one, similarly priced breakfasts included fresh fruit salads, a choice of cheeses instead of just one piece, and a selection of cold meats or terrines, that you don’t get here. I think that they can do a little better. This is a lovely hotel in an ideal location run by charming people. It would certainly be our hotel of choice when next visiting Uzes but we would probably forego the breakfast.

Découvert par hasard ce midi (19/08) le restaurant de cet établissement , un (tout petit) peu à l'écart des restos "touristiques" nous a très agréablement surpris.... Un menu à 24 € (entrée, plat, dessert) dont les plats sont bons et beaux, originaux, et particulièrement bien présentés... Une petite carte, qui rassure quand à la qualité des produits proposés, et cuisinés.... Une carte des vins mettant largement en avant le terroir local Un accueil et un service où la gentillesse est à la hauteur de l'efficacité... Une déco qui ne peut que rendre très agréable le moment passé dans cet établissement... Nous reviendrons assurément, avec grand plaisir.... Merci pour ce moment très agréable passé dans votre établissement.....

A wonderful rooftop restaurant. The food, waiting service and the atmosphere perfect. I had the sea bass - wonderful , and my husband the steak. All was enjoyed along with a lovely bottle of rosé. The only unpleasant factor was the older gentleman who checked us out. Very sarcastic and his manner awful!

Merci aux tenanciers de ce bel établissement, car nous avons été très bien re?u. Très bon petit déjeuner et surtout super d?ner. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit, car en plus il est très bien situé.

Nous avons passé 3 jours à l'Hostellerie Proven?ale et nous ne regrettons pas notre choix. Les gérants sont extrêmement sympathiques. Le cadre est magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Nous reviendrons.

Fantastic hotel. Unique, stylish, spacious and confortable room. Spotless. We loved the personnal touches in the hotel. The location is perfect. Parking easy. Lovely time in Lovely historical Uzes. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose.
