Hotel estremamente moderno e ben immerso nel panorama liparota. Camere ampie e ben disposte; centro congressi di assoluta qualità che permette anche più sessioni in parallelo. Piscina molto bella. Personale molto preparato, gentile e disponibile. Assolutamente consigliato

We stayed five nights at the Hotel Aktea when visiting Lipari and the other Aeolian islands. The service was excellent- They could not have been more gracious and accommodating. They helped us find and book several tours, helped with restaurant recommendations reservations and directions, and were generally friendly and pleasant. The rooms were simple but spacious and comfortable and ours looked onto the wildly gorgeous huge pool. Breakfast had a wide variety of sweets, as well as cereals yogurts, breads meats and cheeses. Would 100% return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Reception staff were very helpful. Our room was very comfortable. We had a fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities. Shower was excellent, very nice bathroom. Continental breakfast with plenty to choose from. You could make your own boiled eggs! We had dinner here the first night. Definitely 5* food and service. Within easy walking distance of the harbour but beware, there is more than one harbour. Takes about 20 minutes to walk to the harbour where you catch the smaller boats to Vulcano and Stromboli islands. Lovely main street with lots of cafés and restaurants and the side street to the smaller harbour is lovely, and pedestrianised. When you walk back up to the hotel, cut down the drive to the swimming pool level and get the lift to your room. Door closes at 11pm. We are an older couple and this saved us a few steps uphill!! The hotel swimming pool and jacuzzi are surrounded by sunbeds. Towels are obtained from the restaurant (same level as pool), and you have to sign for them. No charge if you return them to reception, before you check out. This was our favourite hotel of our Travelsphere holiday. We loved Lipari and its quaint streets and buildings.

Great location just one road back from sea front t. 5 mins walk to hydrofoil and 10ish to main square reached through pedestrian street. Hotel was beautifully landscaped rooms immaculately clean with beautiful mosaic floors balconies or patio. Large pool with sun beds & parasols. Amazing breakfast; cereals, fruits, eggs, cheese , juice , fresh bread and then the cakes!!, Very attentive staff. First class - would have loved to stay longer - thank you

This hotel was an excellent choice. The entire place is meticulously maintained! The gardens around the hotel and pool had the most beautiful plants and flowers. Our room was spacious and elegant. The breakfast buffet was large and everything was fresh and tasty. Dinner was equally delicious. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive and we felt very welcome. It was a very quick walk to the center of Lipari. We wish we could have stayed longer, but the next trip to Sicily we will extend our stay. A big thank you to the hotel staff who took such good care of us. We would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Aktea.

Wonderful pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
Lack of room facilities. No kettle, iton, clothes rack for hanging wet swimming things. For a 4 star this would be expected.
Its a fine hotel but dated and the the furntiture at pool needs an update/clean. Ashtrays werent emptied.

Hotel Aktea was a big part of making our stay in Lipari great: big swimmingpool the kids absolutely loved, nice spacious apartment close to it (no. 87) and great fresh breakfast. To walk into town probably 5 minutes along the harbour, which we did every night. We also booked one day bus/boat ride to White Beach Club with pick-up and drop-off at hotel. Arriving by ferry from Naples early, having already access to pool and convenient change room big plus!

Amazing hotel that is a short walk to downtown. We rented two rooms and both had beautiful outdoor areas and views. The pool area is wonderful and towels are available. There is a small outdoor bar that serves food and drink. Breakfast is plentiful - so much fresh fruit and sweet and savory choices. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
