This is a lovely authentic Cretan hotel with a fabulous roof top terrace and great views. The breakfast buffet was great too. The only issues for me were the very hard bed and the 42 steps up to our room, which when you forget your phone is a challenge!

Het hotel ligt aan de haven en in een voetgangersgebied. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het ontbijtbuffet is simpel en viel ons wat tegen. In de omgeving zijn voldoende restaurants maar het restaurant van het hotel is prima. Het hotel beschikt over een geweldig terras met prachtig uitzicht over de haven. Chania is erg toeristisch maar wel leuk voor een paar dagen. Let wel op als je van plan met de auto te komen. Parkeren is echt een ramp. Na lang zoeken kwamen we bij een bouwterrein waarop geparkeerd mocht worden. Daarna was het 15 minuten lopen naar het hotel.

Hotel familiar, muy cuidado y en un emplazamiento excepcional en el Puerto de Chania. La habitación, amplia y limpísima. Además, algunas, tienen vistas al puerto. El desayuno es bastante bueno. Se compone de muchos productos caseros. Se lleva a cabo en las instalaciones del restaurante con muy buenas vistas. Muy recomendable. Si volvemos a Chania, lo volveremos a elegir sin duda.

We've stayed at quite a few hotels over the years, but this one is my favorite, by far. The owners helped us with our luggage up the stairs and provided us with two glasses and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The Family Room was large, more than enough room for the four of us. It has the classic Greek charm we were looking for in a hotel when booking. The location is perfect, with a beautiful rooftop view of Old Town Chania. The breakfast buffet downstairs was amazing, and changed every day during our 4-day stay. If we ever revisit Chania, we will definitely be staying here again. 5/5, 10/10, 100/100!

Simply sterling service by all the people at the reception who did their utmost to help us, make us feel at home and take good care of us especially Efi and Augustin who played so much with our son and guided us so much. Further more, the hotel was super clean always, and we had a room with an amazing view!! Within distance to all the places in the port, and have their own exquisite restaurant! Simply a special place to stay to which we will definitely return!!

Arrived at hotel with open arms... Staff was friendly and commanding. Inital stay was for 3 days, enjoy perfert location, so extended our stay an additional 3 days. Rooms were cozy and clean... Amphora restaurant was right below, with amazing food and service.

H?tel bien placé chambre ravissante tout est propre bien tenu les personnes de l'h?tel sont au petit soin j’ai adoré ces 10 jours ! Que cela fait du bien d’être bien re?u :) Cet h?tel a le charme de l’authenticité grecque ce que je recherche. De plus le restaurant est parfait cuisine locale traditionnelle.Merci pour toutes vos attentions ! And particulary thanks Augustin for all !!!!!

The hotel was clean and lovely and a great location.Me and my partner don’t use trip advisor but downloaded it to write this review in hope it would be seen by a manager. The number 1 asset to this hotel was a member of staff on reception. Me and my partner have both worked in hospitality and indulged in it. We have done it on a budget and with money to spare but never have we come across a member of staff so lovely, welcoming and helpful. She went out of her way numerous times to ensure 110% satisfaction during our stay. She is undoubtedly the biggest asset to the hotel and the soul reason we would recommend and visit again. We believe her name was Efi and hold her to the highest level of great hospitality and could only wish every other member of staff in the hospitality business would follow the example she has set. We hope she gets some recognition from management and is appreciated and applauded for all she has done over the past 7 days.

This old Venetian palazzo seems to be under renovation, and the building has a few quirks (our bathroom was down a tight spiral staircase from our sleeping area, room lighting is retro-fitted leaving some shadowy areas). These are offset by the charming furniture including a four-poster bed, impressive architectural notes (high ceilings, good air flow, lots of exposed wood) and modern amenities (upgraded plumbing and air conditioning). The staff were friendly and professional and went above and beyond to assist us with standard and unusual requests. If you want to stay in the old Venetian quarter, check out the hotel Amphora- I think we will be back.

I stumble across this cute little place during my short visit on a Sun Princess Cruise.Staff is super friendly and welcoming.The food is extremely fresh from the local catch and the most important is….THE BEERS IS COLD…Highly recommend this!!! ??????
