Ordentliches Hotel, was aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Positiv ist der Parkplatz direkt an Haus, das ausgesprochen gute Frühstück und auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmen sind sauber, halt schon etwas ?lter.

Hotel is walking distance to train station and many restaurants. Room was clean and quiet, Bathroom is small, Balconey makes this hotel with a great view of the Watzmann. Breakfast is very good and the staff was very helpful. Parking is free and next to the hotel

The Bavaria is a nice place to stay in Berchtesgaden. The staff are super friendly and the location is just a short walk from the main part of town (with free parking). While our bed was comfortable, our daughter's sofa bed was a bit firm and the bathroom was very small. Breakfast was nice in the morning.

We did not actually stay at this hotel, but we had a wonderful experience there. We arrived at the Berchtesgade train station one afternoon and our GPS told us it was a 5-minute walk to our hotel so we set out. Suddenly our short walk showed a 30-minute walk so I stopped into the Hotel Bavaria to ask directions. The woman who was at the check-in counter could not have been more helpful or friendly. She quickly told us that our hotel was too far away to walk to, but she offered to call us a taxi and sat us down in the hotel restaurant and offered us water while we waited. We thought that was so awfully thoughtful of her and wanted to let people know that would probably be a great hotel to stay at. Thank you so much for showing a couple of foreigners such great service.

Dit hotel is veel te duur ten opzichte van wat je er voor krijgt. Relatief kleine gedateerde kamer met even kleine badkamer. Erg veel buitengeluiden. Wc ingeklemd tussen douchecabine en muur. Om in de de douchebak te komen heb je bijna een polsstok nodig. Ligging is redelijk, Na korte vrij steile klim ben je in het centrum. Het ontbijt is prima!

Hotel esternamente molto carino, un po' datato negli arredi delle camere. Noi abbiamo occupato una camera familiare, poco funzionale e con terzo letto che in realtà era un divano coperto da un lenzuolo, non proprio comodo per dormire. Colazione a buffet abbastanza fornita nel salato, meno nel dolce. L'hotel dispone di un parcheggio di proprietà non molto ampio anche a causa dell'ubicazione della struttura, situata in forte pendenza, accessibile tramite una stretta strada a doppio senso di circolazione. I disagi sono compensati dalla simpatia e disponibilità dei proprietari. Molto apprezzata la disponibilità di thè e caffè a self service h24 e gli snack dalle 11.00 alle 17.00.

We cannot say enough good about this hotel. If you are going to Berchtesgaden this is a convenient, charming place to stay. The rooms are exceptionally clean. For two weeks in Europe this was by far our best nights rest. The hotel is very easy to access and close to most of the things you will be doing in the area. It is 20 minutes from Salzburg, right down the road from the Salt Mines, close to the bus stop for the Eagle's Nest, and right down the road from the Konigsee Ferry. The style of the hotel is very Bavarian and each room is unique. We had our daughter with us and stayed in a suite. This was very convenient as there were two separate rooms which allowed privacy. Our other daughter and son in law stayed in darling room on the top floor with charming skylights and gingerbread decor. The breakfast is well appointed and everyone will find something. The additional sandwiches and treats were much appreciated after a day of activities. Parking is a little tight. We came back from Salzburg one night and the spaces were full, but the hotel was very willing to find us a place to park and that was appreciated. We loved waking up to the sound of the church bells and on a history note, the tunnel right next to the hotel is were the Allies discovered some of the art Herman Goring stole during WWII.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Angefangen vom sauberen Zimmer, sch?nes hei?es Wasser beim Duschen, herrliche Sauna, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet (selbst mein geliebter Hüttenk?se wurde besorgt), die angebotenen kostenfreien Snacks über Tag und natürlich der grandiose Ausblick auf den Watzmann vom Frühstücks- und Aufenthaltsraum. Die Gastgeberfamilie Kurz kümmert sich sehr liebevoll um ihre G?ste. Ortskern und Bahnhof sind fussl?ufig schnell zu erreichen. Vielen Dank!
