A lovely, friendly hotel with good food A lovely, friendly hotel. Our room, on the first floor, was recently refurbished and the hotel was about to close for three weeks to complete the upper floor. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was excellent, as was the locally sourced wine. Breakfast each day was buffet service with a good selection of foods. A lovely place to stay with an outdoor pool for relaxing after a long hot walk. There is a small supermarket very nearby which is great for picking up provisions for lunch on the move.
