Fantástico hote. Era reticente porque el edificio es muy antiguo pero llevé una sorpresa. Mi ba?o era nuevo y espacioso, el desayuno fantástico -de los mejores que he tomado en su categoria y muchos de categoría superior-, personal amabilísimo y localización estupenda. Patrimonio Nacional, es una de las pocas estructuras que quedan de la época, renovado con piscina climatizada, frente a la playa. Tiene ambiente familiar y esotérico si se quiere conocer los secretos ocultos de Piria y Piriapolis sobre alquimia, ancestros, cultura y mas. Fui en invierno pero en Enero, Febrero y Marzo, es la mejor época.

Es un hotel especial, antiguo pero bien conservado en lo que era la casa de Piria. Se encuentra muy bien ubicado sobre la rambla de Piriapolis. Tiene piscina climatizada, buen desayuno rico y variado. Las habitaciones si bien son chicas, esto es algo que ya sabía al contratar el hotel y tienen todo lo necesario. La atención del personal en todas sus áreas fue muy buena, respondiendo en forma muy eficiente y amable a todas las solicitudes lo cual le da un punto más. En definitiva, la estadía fue muy buena

Si bien le hace falta aggiornamento, las instalaciones son correctas. Desayuno regular, sin opción ni diabetico ni celiaco, pero colchón y almohadas buenas, no tan viejas como las sábanas. La piscina aceptable también

Es un lugar mágico. Estuvimos 4 días de frio muy intenso , nublado y con viento por tal después de las 18 no salimos. Recomiendo ir en verano, no están preparados para turismo invernal. La mayoría de los hoteles cerrados, pero las bellezas naturales que tiene las puedes disfrutar intensamente si soportas el frio.

We have been wanting to stay at Hotel Colon for a number of years and finally had the opportunity. It is rather an iconic property in Piriapolis directly on the rambla. Check in was smooth but the superior double we were escorted to was very small. The bath was tiny and the shower faucet could not be regulated so you constantly had to hold it with one hand or you would get scaled. Not good. No hair dryer either....it is 2023! When we made the reservation, it was for a queen size bed but alas, only a full-size in the room. They said they were sorry but offered no compensation. After getting to the room, we decided to order some drinks so I called the front desk. There was a menu on the table next to the bed offering several beverages. Sorry, no drinks, you have to walk down the street to the minimercado, so I did. Breakfast in the morning consisted of a plate of stale rolls and pasties, likely from the previous day. There also some apples, oranges and bananas in a bowl for all to share. Our experience was not what we had expected and we had wished we had booked a room at the Argentino Hotel, where we had stayed previously.
