Beware… you’re not booking a room in this hotel!!!
Beware when booking!!!!!
If you are booking on the off season you will not be put in the hotel you are viewing. They put off season guest in their new building, which is nice, but you’re not paying for the hotel you see.
The hotel says its ********** fault and ********** says it’s the hotel’s fault.
More charming hotels than their new one to choose from and not worth the money.

Overall it was an ok stay. Some things that fell short was staff/help, no one to go to if you needed something because the main house was closed. Our room had no bodywash/gel left (wasnt refilled by cleaning staff i guess) so we couldnt even shower properly and no one to ask for more.
Also a lot of lack of communication, for example getting emails about the breakfast/restaurant on site -only to find out they are all closed for the season. Also no information on where to check out/how, and if you happened to check in after 5pm -there would be no one there to check you in.
In addition, the coveside market was the only food option for the hotel, which was highly disappointing; we got there at 9:30am and they were already out of breakfast sandwiches and basically all the pastries -despite no one even being there. We went during october so it was much more quiet, yet they already had run out of food. Only thing left was basically prepackaged snacks/foods, which i ended up getting an egg salad sandwich which was just really not good at all.

Room was larger than most hotel rooms with a large bathroom also. The main hotel was closed for the season so we stayed across the street in a smaller section. Very lovely decor and very quiet. Being off season no restaurants at the hotel were open. But we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Booking from the uk quite a while ago, we didn't relise the main hotel was closed , this was supposed to be the perfect end to our trip around new England, instead although the room was nice , the WiFi was awful, not staying on for more than 5 minutes at a time.
There was no-one around to complain to
Not only was everything closed in the hotel, we weren't even allowed to have a look around or spend any time outside admiring the views
All in all very disappointed with our stay, even trying to checkout the people in the Market didn't know how

Magnifique h?tel. Entrée majestueuse. Prix abordable lorsque j’ai réservé en 2024 pour 2025, mais flambée des prix en 2025 et retrait de l’avantage du déjeuner complet gratuit en salle à manger. Muffins et café dans le hall d’entrée

Muy lindo hotel. Buena ubicación, excelente servicio y muy lindas habitaciones Esta en el centro de la ciudad. El desayuno es espectacular. La pileta es muy linda y tiene servicio en la piscina. Son muy amables su personal. Es muy recomendable

Although a little on the pricey side per night rate, my fmly and I overall enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Colony. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and new looking this place was. Not run down at all despite having opened for about 5 years now I think. Very well maintained which made our stay very comfortable. We like how industrial and modern looking this whole place is. Water pressure in the bathroom was good, bed linen was clean, amenities were well replenished, swimming pool was rather small but clean and decent enough to keep the kids happy. One thing weird though was that we were given 2019 dated green tea sachet but it’s already 2022 now. Receptionist said it’s actually the date of manufacturing rather than the expiry date but we didn’t want to take the risk so we didn’t consume it. And the amount of soap and shampoo given were probably too little in small slim bottles. Bathroom was a little clogged after our shower. But everything else were fine and nice. I guess the sound proof was alright as there was no noisy disturbances from other rooms. So we had uninterrupted sleep. This guesthouse has two storeys with 8 rooms in total. 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom. All in all thumbs up and if given the chance and having to travel to Kuantan again we would be more than happy to be back here to stay.
